neither , i hope and pray ,alcohol and drugs are killing our society , but does the society really cares , it always starts with an introduction , school grounds are thriving business ,and graduation parties to , i think schools should tighten up its ground with adequate policing around it ,14 year old addicts come on now,
Much rather the pot. I've seen alcohol destroy far more lives than herb.
That's what I don't get: Someone can legally buy a gallon of tequila and drink until they soil themselves, fighting anyone who looks at them...but a joint to give you munchies and a nap can land you in the slammer.
I would hope neither! But if i had to choose between one i would definitely say pot! Although it is illegal it is still a heck of alot better for you than alcohol! When drinking people do alot of stupid stuff that they wouldnt do sober. As far as pot.. all ur gonna do is stuff your face and go to sleep! lol
I smoked pot back in the day when I was younger. I have one child who smokes it and they are going to college and top of their class. I would rather them smoke a joint and be chilled out then to be drunk and driving. I'm sure someone will have something negative to say to this. But it works for them so actually none of my business. They are an adult and can make their own choices.
I would so much rather him getting caught with alcohol. Only cause pot is something that you really have to find where alcohol is really easy to come by. Plus pot is the "gateway drug". I don't drink or use drugs. i don't even use asprin unless i have a bad enough headache to cause me to see 2 of everything.
i puff pot 3-5 times a year i enjoy it a bit , but that godamn booze has medicly come close to killin me, diabetes and the like i dont drink a lot now ,i miss it but am better off without it
What disgusts me is when I see parents openly smoking pot or drinking excessively right in front of their young ones........ It's no small wonder why so many kids are bad at age 12 , they have "dirt bags" as parents

Neither. But forced as I am to make a choice, pot. It may be illegal, but way less dangerous. I'm not saying it doesn't have dangers, but far less than alcohol.

Well, you know they are going to try it... so far my teenage girls have tried both. They are 17 and 18, I have caught them and raised hell. We talk about it ... I don't punish them... not a whole lot to do with a 17 or 18 year old but I let them know I don't approve... it will not be done in or around my house and they need to think about their actions and what can happen if they do partake.
They also know that if they get themselves in a bind, they can call me. I'll help them out of it regardless (meaning if they get drunk or stoned) So far, no phone calls.... I try to keep close tabs on them and hope that all I have said will sink in they will make good decisions.

EDUCATE THEM. Let them know how you feel. Inform them. Once my little girl said to me, I hate school, and I told her, OK drop out, do drugs and die, or get a education and take vacations, it is your choice.
