anybody who knows, or has been to Malta surely would agree that a breathtaking view is the Grand Harbour and the 3 Cities at night from upper Barrakka Gardens.
I'm local and still enjoy th sight everytime I visit

NYE CS party in Malta :
this was an idea Smoky, Miro and others and myself were discussing on the other thread NYew Years Eve Party started by Miro (hello Miro !)before things got sort of waylaid....

an idea could be -
depending on the numbers - take on a venue with music and make it a private party for CS people (with partners for the singles who aren't single !) Food can be finger nibbles (as in a wedding reception in Malta) with a buffet style dinner and champers at midnight. Not neccessarily very posh but celebrating together is the main motive.

Cherscic mentioned 'New Year is still too far to think about it now.......but ..we'll keep it in mind...................'

really, if we had to organise a NYE do here,

1. we need to know numbers
2. if 1. above is encouraging, we need to find and book a venue
3. find and book a DJ (not Miro's pig - too expensive ) with a mobile disco or something for music
4. organise a caterer
5. for CS members from outside malta - need hotel reservations

etc etc etc.

no, if NYE bash for CS members is to be held anywhere really, it needs to START being organised by mid october latest !
