I agree with most you said here. Had me thinking for hours after I read it yesterday.
But this for me is more about falling in love with beautiful words and ideas, the same as falling in love with Poets (some long deceased!) The person in the flesh could be a total let down, no chemistry. Chances of that happening is just too great.
What would you say if I told you that a spirit isn't a dead but a live person and that the person can be photographed via a live tv programme on in their house and that the slightly disguided photograph is then used in a an advertisement?! You'd say b o l l o c k s wouldn't you?

I used to scoff at the idea but looking at my wallpaper (a gorgeous pic of the Milky Way) - which is only a tiny spot in the Universe...and looking at the countless stars there, makes me wonder...

You know of course that the oil thing is about vested interest. As soon as oil wells dry up as they must and only then will we see the Hydrogen powered vehicles take their rightful place. Shucks - I wont be around to see it...
My cousin helped me set up my account. She typed too fast and I ended up as apostophe instead of apostrophe. I am a Frank Zappa fan and owned his album The Apostrophe, at one stage.
A Poet in the corner used to call me apostrophe and I never corrected him.
