RE: Why do men run from a single parent?

Single moms rock, they are the toughest people on the planet. They make men look like wussies.

I need a woman's perspective

Thanks Eyes, I talked with a friend and she said the same thing.

I need a woman's perspective.

Never mind, talked to a friend and she told me what I already know.

I need a woman's perspective.

Let's say you meet a guy online, send some emails, talk on the phone and then set a date.

Near the end of the conversation, the guy tells you that he has flown 3/4's of the way across the country, a few times, to spend time with someone he is quite taken with, but would never move there.

He tells you that the woman and he have an understanding that they both can date and it will end between them once one of them finds a partner that is closer by. Further, he advises that he is going to see this woman for a couple of days next week.

The question is.... would you date this guy?

I need a woman's perspective

I should also add that they will continue to be friends, and possibly continue to visit each other.

RE: Not playing games they tell me....It is them who do the playing.....Trusting the next one again

I think Dawn is right. These sites take a lot of "sorting" before you find someone who is honest.

RE: Not playing games they tell me....It is them who do the playing.....Trusting the next one again

*happily*

RE: Not playing games they tell me....It is them who do the playing.....Trusting the next one again

I think folks see a picture, have a little dialogue and then fall into the happy ever after trap.

It skews the beginning of a relationship.

RE: What are three characteristics of a good friend?

Watch out for those "Tater Tots", lol.

RE: What are three characteristics of a good friend?

Okay, I finally get this site. When the Tater smiles, the whole world smiles with you!

Judgment is on a continuum. There is no black and white.

Tell me Indy, what was your secret advice to Merwen?

I won't say the obvious, for all the ladies out there, I will refrain.

Seems like people say they are open-minded, then tell everyone else how to live,
