(Don't give me credit for that last piece of wisdom...it's off of a kitchen magnet that I saw, and it stuck with me for it's awesome truth.)

Willing to accept your oddities and flaws, and quit okay when you notice their's.
Doesn't jump to random conclusions basid upon other's stories - aka hear say!
More or less, that's what I think, though I'd like to add:
Not a flake (sticks to lunch dates and stuff)
Not overly dramatic all the time.
I have seen and experienced these in a few people. I stinks when you like someone for their personality, but then realize you just can't depend upon them to show up @ the coffee shop or even call if they are going to be late.

well it led me to 2 DUI's
But I did quit drinking when my daughter was born.... Priorities or fun...The police are relieved though, I don't fight them anymore...

I dont expect honesty cos when you are friends a lot of it is understood. But there is also some amount of personal pace that needs to be given and hence 100% honesty all the time is not something i would make mandatory.
