i see in this commin weekend a meeting of minds in a busy street,when a canvasser, looking for votes for ff approaches..after a torrid debate on name & blame..he invites you to dinner to explain his points clearer!
upon this restaurant meeting you are stood up! in bad form and clearly distressed a kind waiter offers a shoulder...
but by 3am later that night! its more than lying on his shoulder

the truth is a great thing!! so here goes...

saipan wasn`t a training site..it was aclimatissation for one week before move to japanese mainland...FACT!

in the qualifier he pulled out of iranian tie cause of state of that pitch! played for united 3 days later..knee injury takes longer(i know)so he was faking it to a certain degree...FACT!

he was told by ireland staff in saipan to sit out saipan if he wanted cause it was only acclimatisation,but he refussed and decided to shout mac. down...FACT!

rumours on the ground over there and between press and staff circulated thru fans(was one of them there!) came out to back all i`ve just stated...plus came from players who i trust who`s never let their country down..
