Some elements of it, somehow I guess. But Politics was born with states: negotiation, diplomacy, control of populations. Modern Politics have a specific trait though: the massive use of hypocrisy and lying, and the perpetuation of elites.

From my perspective it does a bit. I am discussing the use of a cheap version of epistemology to defend a pretentious "exclusivity" to have "truths"
THis is a very middle-aged concept and was the foundation of all the atrocities perpetrated by the Catholic Church (which is in my view and according to my background, the very founder of modern Politics)

You are not in front of a jury. Those rules are not made to delve into knowing or learning soemthing. So, they are not useful here.
I am sorry, You could take a course of epistemology in any university of the world and you will never get good marks.

Do you know that you are using that computer now basically because of the models designed in physics -I am talking baout the hardware- models that eventually contributed to a turning point from the Scholastic standpoint you defend.
Well those models have taught the Western mind about something beyond your facts and truths.

You are an educated and intelligent man and understand that facts in any field but particularly in the field under discussion are absolutely clouded with subjectivity and multiple distortion, therefore they can integrate your conceptions about something not the ridiculous "TRUTH".
And always a stupid link to back an opinion? I just leave it for Internet wackos.

I disagree that the unobservable is nonsense. Maybe it is for the rigid limits of our Westerm knowledge, but for other cultures the unobservable -through physical senses- is the basis of their knowledge.

Thanks for your contribution.... It is an urban legend to think that the most intelligent people in the world are scientists. That group has replaced the Middle Age clerics with all the false legends and elitism ther latter ones once had.
MOst intelligent people do not use their mind for science nowadays. Thye go for more productive and self-satisfying fields. I am seeing that for many years.

To me, it is very limited test just because there are so many types of intelligence, even to the point that each person represents a type of intelligence. Western Civilization and its uniformising trends goes so well with those scales.

There is no cloak of a saint on science (though that is the tendency given its mother: Christian idoelogy and epistemology) have you heard, for example, of the ridiculous supremacist theories of the Solutrean men?
