i dont know about that-as any kind of response even a telling off would feed the attention need-so continue the cycle.as with kids attention should be reserved for pleasant social contact.so i would ignore and block.
i am sure this is upsetting-either he is creating a problem because he wants out-without seeming like he is in the wrong(possibly so he can pick up again with you at a later date)or he is a control freak who only wants you to do what he says you can. either way i would deliete him and move on.
