RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

Come on Juan, Obama has wasted about 5 or 6 or 10 times, during Obama's first year, what Bush spent fighting Islamic Jihadism over a period of about 8 years.

Obama is spending Trillions, Bush spent Billions.

No comparison.

You do not know that???

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

BTW, I did post proof... do a Google search for the Judicial Watch web site, and you can read first hand how corrupt this administration really is...

Stone walling on dozens of Freedom of Information Act (FOCA) requests....

Very corrupt. Very arrogant. Very foolish.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

I do not see any proof in your posts either... I can ask you the same question.

What do I think a Republican will do for me in particular?

Gees, I wish I didn't have to explain this... A Republican, or better, a Conservative, will do a much better job of protecting the Constitution, and thus, lots of our liberty. This may not matter to you much, since you live in Italy, but it matters a to average Americans, as you will see in the next election.

Also, Conservatives, are not nearly as likely to bankrupt the country as the liberals are quickly doing.

I wish I had the time to educate you about the enormous differences in ideologies, and the resulting huge importance for average American citizens in terms of cost of living, standards of living, quality of government services, and more, but it may not matter in the end, since you may just be a socialist and that is the end of the discussion.

I have dealt with government enough in my life to know that government is certainly not the solution, and often is more the problem.

Actually, it was government meddling in the mortgage industry, trying to get people who did not know how to hold a job, qualified to borrow to buy a home , that led to this current financial meltdown of the sub-prime mortgage markets. And that was initiated by the Clinton administration as a bit of enlightened and elite social engineering.

I wish they would have spared us the government solution for that.

Too many politicians these days, more the liberals than the conservatives, but in actuality, both, vote and act in ways to get themselves re-elected, and do not act and vote in ways that are best for the long term health of the country.

The government that governs the best, governs the least.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

I hate to take the time to respond to this, but I think you really have made lot of mistakes here:

First off, Judicial Watch, a non-partisan goverment watch dog organization, each year in January releases it's list of the top ten most corrupt politicians...

This year, 9 of the 10 were Democrats, including Obama, Pelosi, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and 5 others.

Second, NO PARTY spends the taxpayers money like Democrats. Period.

Just take a look at the numbers.... This administration's spending has been astounding, historical.... stimulus money that did not stimulate anything but liberal Democrat supported organizations such as ACORN and various unions that the Dems owed. Just like Obama's Chief of Staff famously said "Never let a good crisis go to waste." ( I am sure he regrets revealing his strategy on that. )

Third, along with their corruption, the Democrats are in bed with big business big time. Obama has numerous former Goldman Sachs executives in the administration, and the connection to AIG and so and so on.

Republicans tend to be much more supportive of small business actually, than the Dems. Both parties are corrupt when it comes to the big organizations.

Lies? You don't think Democrats lie???

The Dems are the biggest liers.

Blowing things our of proportion? Getting angry and screaming? Liberals are famous for that... that is one of their trademarks.

"Try looking up a few facts instead of just parroting what comes out of other peoples mouths."

Back at ya.

REALLY.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

Yeah, and it will just as swiftly be all over for the foolish liberals again this November 2010.

The people have seen the error and fallacy of the liberal ways, so your time will be rapidly over too Jvaski. And probably for a long, long time.

You liberals have been spending the country back past the medieval times and into the Stone Age.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

So true.

ALL of your post is so very true.

AND it is sad, but true.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

Always interested in anything you have to say Abram.

YOU, my man, are a creative thinker.

Old Juan, he is going to blow a gasket one of these days because the utopia he desires so badly here on earth, just ain't going to occur until the end.

And that is just the way it is ya know?

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

You don't know that I am a creative thinker???

I am SHOCKED!

SHOCKED!

Well, as I recover from your withering comment, I think I will go creating something.....

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

How about the DNC a few years ago?

Your know about that Juan, the Democratic National Convention, where the Democratic party nominated and radical, socialist, fraudulant, secular, sophomoric, narcissist to run for US presidency?

Let's see....

We are also about to throw out our corrupt and foolish Democrat governor.

But I have to say, California is making more history than Colorado... allowing fool liberals to bankrupt the state, while they try to boycott Arizona for wanting Federal immigration laws to be enforced.

That is a kind of a bad history, but it is what it is huh.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

Actually, we are more involved in making history than reading about it.

Zing.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

I'll leave you alone Juan; I realize you don't feel too good.

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

Is that the best you can do??

Is that ALL you got Juan?

So much for critical thinking and creative ideas huh?

Why are the liberal Democrats always angry screamers?

'Cause they are wrong so much of the time??

RE: Texas Textbook MASSACRE !!

You are beginning (albeit slowly) to get it John....

Conservative ideals are ALWAYS right.

They are thought through.

And I imagine it hurts to be a liberal, and hate that Conservatives are always right, but at least you can take comfort in the fact that you (apparently) are BEGINNIG to get it.

RE: TENNESSEEJUDY and WONDERWORKER

Hey Wonder,

Thanks for the link...

I always liked Johnny Horton... he has recorded some great ballads and they all seemed to have caught my imagination.

Those are some fine pictures of Alaska on that link too. My Dad and my two brothers and I drove a 1957 Jeep pulling a plywood and canvass trailer up through Alberta, British Columbia, the Yukon and into Skagway, AK in the early 1960's. Spent about 3 weeks camping out along the Alaskan Highway.
I was about 10 years old at the time. Big adventure, and your U Tube link made me think about it again.

May you and Judy be smiling for evermore....

RE: TENNESSEEJUDY and WONDERWORKER

Actually the Rockies are still pretty much snowed in, at least the high country anyway. Denver is really a city on the plains, just on the very edge of the beginning of the Rockies.

I just said the Springtime in the Rockies because it sounds so poetic and melodious, which seems pretty fitting for this particular and special thread.

Yup.

RE: TENNESSEEJUDY and WONDERWORKER

Hi Star,

I am fine... no complaints ya know?

Enjoying Springtime in the Rockies a little, on my bike today.

How about you?

Did I read you were moving from CA?

RE: TENNESSEEJUDY and WONDERWORKER

Congratulations to both of you; I am very happy for you two Tennesseans.

My you live long and happy together for ever after.

I like you both, and I like you both together.

Amen.

RE: One Reason Arizona Passed SB 1070

I like the way the Federal government decides that it will recognize and enforce some laws, but not other laws.

That way, I can recognize and obey some laws, but I don't have to respect or obey other laws that I don't like very much.

Ya know, Obama and his gang are public servants who answer to us taxpayers. So, if they can ignore laws they don't like, why can't we do the same thing?

I am not Obama's servant, he is my servant. I tell him, he doesn't tel me.

So, I don't like those IRS laws very much, and I am just gong to ignore the ones I don't like.

And the anarchy begins because of Bullsh-t leadership.

RE: The Serenity Prayer

A little different version goes:

Ain't no sense worrying about the things that you don't have control over....
because, if you don't have control over them, ain't no sense worrying about them.

AND, ain't no sense worrying about the things that you do have control over...
because, if you do have control over them, ain't no sense worrying about them.

The End.

RE: America The great

I say: "What are YOU doing about it??"

What do you do to make your country great, rather than complaing?

Do you use petroleum products?

Geeees.

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

There are ten times more incidents of this per year, or per whatever, by teachers in schools and at school events, than there are with priests anywhere.

Yeah, it is bad when it happens, for sure, but it is far less prevalent by priests than by lay people. It's just that the corrupt media loves to attack the church.

So, you need to know the truth, and you need to listen to more than the dinosaur media to learn it.

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

Wonder Worker,

Read about the Jesuit priest named Fr. Kircher, lived in the 1600's, Athanasius Kircher (1601?).

Kircher was a Jesuit priest of German descemt. also an archaeologist, mathematician, biologist, astronomer, musicologist, and physicist. One of the world's great polymaths, he knew Hebrew, Aramaic, Coptic, Persian, Latin, and Greek as well as various modern languages. He is regarded as the founder of Egyptology and was also one of the first people to observe microbes using a microscope. An avid inventor of often playful devices, he built a talking and eavesdropping statue that used a primitive intercom.

The Catholic Church has done more over the years, than any other institution on the planet, to educate and teach literacy, medicine, science, history and lots more.

Sorry, these are just the honest facts.

RE: hurting

Nevermind.

Oh Luscious L, you are funneee funnee funee.

BTW....

How do you know that??

Nevermind.

RE: Do you believe in Angels????

Yup, I believe in Angels.

I have posted about this previously on CS:

"When I was young teen at home with my other brothers and sisters, twice over a period of a couple years, I witnessed a spiritual being, a translucent appearing entity.....

And at that time in my life, I was a pretty innocent person.... a virgin, never had tried any drugs, never had been drunk.... quite pure really. (But I did develop a desire to loose that innocence a few short years later...)

And the apparition only lasted a minute or less each time. I didn't get anything other than the visual. No message, fragrance, anything. And I always wondered why that happened... what was the point. And years later I concluded the point is:
THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN MEETS THE EYE."

So.... there you go.

I realize a lot of the atheists here on CS will attack this and dismiss it as a hallucination or something, but I know better.

It was real.

RE: Tiger Woods

The only truck I see in your profile is a blue Dodge...

You call it a Land Rover though??

I guess it does rove over the land, but your kind of confusing a brand name here aren't you?

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

Ya know, that is damn funny.

You crack me up for posting that Conrad, and Biden cracks me up for saying that. Did he really say that??

He would make a great comedian.

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

Examples to the contrary do not refute the proposition???

So in other words, don't confuse me with facts..... my mind is made up.

You have to go back to the "dark ages" to get around my post?

Do you not know the Roman Catholic Church reformed itself since then???

I also disagree with your remark that seminary students often turn apostate. Where do you get that??

You are so steeped in you hatred for the church you have lost your sense of truth and objectivity.

RE: Why Belief in God Is Not Innate

It is interesting how traditional American values, which used to be considered moderate or middle of the road, are now called ultra right wing by you liberal Democrat types.

And thanks but no thanks for the elementary lesson on Communism and Socialism-- I already knew it ooby.

The mistake you people make is believing Obama, when he has been proven to be a lier-- do you think creating government entitlements for health care is not advancing the creeping Socialism that you people have embraced and supported since F Roosevelt? Do you not know Obummer just nationalized the student loan program?

If Obummer had the chance, he would nationalized a lot more of America, but fortunately for America, there are enough of us with traditional American values that he will be stopped this coming November.

RE: Obama made History! Now Economy, Energi and Peace!

Dud,

I hope you're getting your check from Obama and his comrades every week for all your hard work here publishing Obummers propaganda lines.

It must be hard work and discouraging too I imagine, always trying to prop up such a corrupt and failed presidential administration.

I can tell you need a break, before you breakdown.
