You can look at last years I imagine, since you get so much glee from attacking a former American president.
But Bush had a much much higher approval rating at this stage of his presidency than Obama has, and I am pretty sure Obama will have a 1 term presidency.
Obma has appointed too many corrupt cabinet members (about 3 or 4 were caught evading income taxes) and czars, and he is too corrupt himself.
As an attorney you probably cannot understand this, but just because actions they have taken are not illegal, does not mean their actions are right/proper.
Similarly, simply because a politician has not had any charges filed against him, does not prove the politician is not corrupt.

I think everyone on earth basically cares about the planet and is an environmentalist. Everyone wants clean water and air, and a healthy environment ya know?
So, it comes down to shades of gray, or degrees of acceptance of the so-called "science" of global warming, which, of course, has been shown to NOT be very scientific in the last few months.
And what are our options???

We need to be realistic.
I think we should limit CO2, but I don't really think any uptick in the earth's temp is really caused by greenhouse gases.
I think the sun is responsible for the warming and cooling of the earth over the millenniums.
And so the US and China are the bad guys. But look around further and there are culprits in India and all around the tropics who are destroying the rain forests.
What about getting real and what about fairness to all?
What about OPEC and the middle east and their cars and A/C systems?
If the UN did not think SH had WMD's why did they attempt for 10+ yearrs to inspect his country for them??
You want to criticize Bush for torture?? Buddy, Saddam Hussein and his boys practiced torture!! Get REAL. Waterboarding is a relatively light form of coercion compared to what most of the corrupt regimes of the world engage. The Geneva convention is silent regarding waterboarding BTW. Waterboarding is controversial in that is certainly is a coercive act, but it does no long term harm to a person. So, I have to say again, get real.
Why did the UN say no to a pre-emptive strike?? Man, you do not really understand the UN do you....
The UN's membership is composed, by a large extent, of small third world countries. Most of theses countries, and therefore most of the world is ruled by corrupt regimes of various compositions, that don't want anyone looking down their throat either. The UN is a disgrace, and anyone who studies the issue realized that pretty quickly.
And of course Saddam dissed the UN's weapons inspectors and played the cat and mouse game for a decade.
BTW, how long do you think the world should have ignored his efforts to obtain and or have WMD's??

Besides, an American president cannot start a war without the approval and backing of the congress. And Bush had the support of the Democrat congress when they started the war.
Further, Bush wasn't th eonly one in the west who thought Saddam Hussein had WMD's- so did Clinton, and the UN.
