RE: ARKANSAS MEN

Yup. I am way out there, lol. :)

RE: INSANE ASYLIM

Mary had a little gun;
It was shiny and red.
But everywhere that Mary went
the cops picked up the dead.

RE: a sorry song

Hey, you are on a roll. :)

RE: a sorry song

I touched a name today

No, I still have my skin on, lol. :)

I touched a name today

Perfect Hell
by RainbowSlider

Forgive me God for being human
but you made me that way.
That is enough if you can't tolerate heaven
then you must go to hell.
God, it is dark down here
and I can't find the light.
Jeez, will you ever mature?
OK, here are some flames.
Are you happy now?
God, it is too hot down here.
But you said you wanted light.
You shouldn't be such a hot head.
God, I am lonely down here.
Can't you ever be satisfied.
OK, I am sending you a friend.
God, she complains too much.
What is it with you?
Where did I go wrong?
Does she remind you of anyone you know?
God, that is not funny.

RE: Who Are We

Great to see you sharing poetry, again. :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Yes and that was more fun than a barrell full of monkeys, lol.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Ain't that the truth. Fortunately, we have the mods for some whiteout operations and the apology has got me out of some touchy situations. Also some of my friends realize like me that they are human, too. I would rather be a human than a stone because of this cliche'

A rolling stone gathers no moss. What would a stone be without moss, lol?

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

That is a beautiful song. :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

In a friendly sort of way, yes. I would not want to harm anyone though. I learned long ago that would only attract one who plays head games. :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

The reason I brought this up is because I have long standing friendships on here. To retain that I have to learn to say I am sorry even if I thought I have done no wrong. Sometimes what I have considered humor has been considered offensive to another. Another reason is the elusive terminology "head game". Like the cliche the term head game has lost its meaning. There are literally many head games and not all of them are known.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Oh, like the phrase, "If I told you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me"?

RE: A White Rose

A Whiter Rose
by RainbowSlider

A white rose can be beautiful.
White is the presence of all colors.
Black is the absence of all colors.
But would a white rose be more beautiful
than a black lotus?
Would a black widow be more attracted
to a black lotus than a white rose?
Black on white
it helps us to write
but where would we be without color?
Can you see the beauty of a rainbow?
Can you see the beauty of a clear rose?
It seems like it has no color
but wouldn't it be just as beautiful
if we could see it?
Where are the white spiders
in a world that only has a white color?
What color could you leave out?
Aren't all colors beautiful
in their own way?
Could there ever really be
an ugly rose?
Would a Grey rose
be a forgotten flower
that we overlooked?
Don't we live in a world full of color?
Gather ye rosebuds while ye may
and fill the world with flowers
because love is blind
to those who can not see.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Thanks. I remember from English class the teacher warned us about using cliches because she wanted us to use our own writing. I know a word can have multiple meanings and phrases can be the same way, too.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Thanks, Pete. I hope I remembered your name right. I was intrigued with that reply.

RE: What do you really look for in a person?

Lmao. You are right. :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

I bet cliche' and touche' are both French derived words. Just guessing :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Would like to see that. I think that could be considered being good for the wrong reason.

RE: What do you really look for in a person?

Have you ever got lost in your own train of thought and had to dig your way out?

RE: What do you really look for in a person?

Excellent reply. Truth can be like a two way street but if you come at it from the wrong direction you will meet oncoming traffic.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Those are good. I was thinking of the cliche from what Joanie said this one.

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.

I have had a lot of experience with that cliche.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Does anyone have a favorite cliche and what does that cliche mean to you?

RE: This is MY farewell thread !

Good point, Joanie. Sometimes you make sense and that scares me, lol. I have tried to leave. I forget how many times now, lol. Maybe we need a welcome back thread, lol.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Yeah, damn you, you wouldn't let me save you, lol. A friend saved is a friend earned, lol. I just cliches, lol. It is amazing how many cliches have lost their original meaning.

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

Now you tell me. All this time and you already knew, jees. I feel so foolish now. Good morning, Joanie. :)

What if they are good but for the wrong reasons?

What if you tried to save them but instead they saved you? Oh the horror. Being outsaved. Jeez, it is tragical, lol. The friendships on here can be awesome.

RE: Broken Watch.

Hmmm, I wonder if anyone has ever broken a watch from stroking a cat.
