C'mon then if yer a moron this thread is for you...If you are not a moron then please don't post here. Let's find out how many morons we have here at CS shall we?
Best bet is to grab a lonley planet guide for whatever destination you have in mind...to much to list here...I've been in China and Thailand for the past 8 years and if there were one thing I'd like to pass on to you it would be leave your western thinking and value systems at home and come with an open mind.
The problem with any organized religion is that they all profess to know the way somewhere and offer provide you, the gullible, with a map. usually for a small to exorbitant fee.
When the reality is that to reach enlightenment is an oxymoron. The word reach posits a place that you do not yet occupy.
Hence the path...the way...
No one can point you there because there is no there, no system can explain the unexplainable.
it's simply an awareness. we are all enlightened beings as we are now..we simply are not aware of it. It is up to each of us and no one or nothing can help us understand it.
You are the world and the world is you...contemplate that until you understand it completely.
Older men are generally attracted to young women because of the innocence they see there. The older we get the more innocence is smothered by an increasing cynicism...life becomes less fulfilling and tiresome...a young women is like a breath of fresh air. We all want that innocence back and some men see young women as a vehicle back to it.
when the real answer lies within us. all we really need do is shed the experiences that have made us cynical by letting the past die as it should. There is no reason that a man or woman can't feel that child like innocence as it never leaves us it just gets suppressed under the weight of experience.
Pardon me but I felt compelled to respond to a fellow Canuck.
Spent 12 years at the base of Grouse Mountain on the North Shore. used to love weekend blasts up cypress on my bike and occasionally a rip up the Sea to Sky highway to Whistler(when the traffic wasn't to bad). What part of Van you at?
I don't think there is one across the board answer but for some people, like best, it's as I've been trying to explain to her...for others it's the truth and their fascination with it.
Like death, which we fear like nothing else, we will catch ourselves slowing down at severe traffic accidents to try and catch a glimpse. We are fascinated with death because we don't understand it...I think there is a similar fascination with the truth for similar reasons.
The anger shown towards me on this thread is a result of the fear that manifests out of that inability to understand.
The fascination with truth keeps them here, the fear of it makes them lash out.
Oh my another poster with a reading disorder...let me shed some light...
"You didn't think through or even read and consider what I had said" Clearly you got this idea from this sentence of mine..."the only sentence I needed to read to understand your motive for posting was this one"
you took that to infer that I hadn't read the rest of your post, but the sentence actually means that I did read and consider your entire post and then replied that all I actually needed to read was the one sentence.
And just before you accuse me of this..."You didn't think through or even read and consider what I had said"...
You admitted to this..."Some threads and ops don't deserve the respect of that."...So essentially you accuse me of a transgression that you yourself admit to in the sentence previous to you accusation.
So I hurt one of your friends and you cast aside all thinking and burst into this thread(when it's basically over) and attack me with no regard of the message in the op.
Just to let you know...the only sentence I needed to read to understand your motive for posting was this one...
"You should rethink before you post as you so rudely told a sweet lady on here."
This sentence negates everything written before it.
If you'd care to read the whole thread I think you'll see that I've explained.
RE: was there 1 teacher in particular at school, that didnt like you?
