Hi Jan--my personal opinion is there are no real advantages..it's seems so at first because they are right where you are in my case 8 hours a day, but when the rest of the office starts noticing when you might go to lunch at the same time, or you can't help but a bit of extra flirting, the rest of your small world takes notice even though you don't...and somehow those relationships just don't last, and then you are faced with everyday facing that person, is so uncomfortable..so for myself I choose not to date anyone in the workplace, noone no matter how hot, or the intial flirting they convey..for me Hell to the No...hope that helps..
I think society has played a big role in us wanting to be in the "norm" asap...how quickly have some of the biggest catastrophes been washed out quickly to get life back to the "norm"...? But sometimes what we want so much isn't really what is there and then we are sadly disappointed, we are blinded by what we want to see, but not what there is to see...the question is are you really being the person that they want or do you try to be you from the get go? The arguing is from major expectations, and that is so unfair, you have to see that person from the getgo as they are, don't try to make them who you want to be, and vice versa...our expectations will kill us every time...care and love them for who they are, you may find a diamond in the rough.....
I love rainy days when I'm off, I sleep in and get chores done that otherwise get left alone when it's sunny out, so if it's cold and rainy after my chores, I like to take the dogs for a walk in the rain--I even bought them raincoats! Then come back and have a nice glass of wine and sit back and watch a movie... have a little peace to myself in my otherwise hectic world of work, driving and work at home....
You have such a long life ahead of you, this was an experience for the both of you...surely you had good times and you loved her...you'll learn to watch out for red flags of what you don't want so you try not to make the same mistake after a few times.. it happens to alot of us Pete, and we did the same thing, but maybe after a few times we decided what didn't work, what we didn't want, and started to open our eyes---there is a big beautiful world out there with many wonderful people that you haven't met yet--she taught you a lesson, learn from it and move on--you'll find that life is too short as you get older, don't be hasty, many times things happen for a reason...enjoy your life and live it to it's fullest...it's wonderful aside from the bruises we've had, and some really deep hurts...it really is wonderful to feel the love of another person giving back to you...don't be discouraged--you have the right idea...be single, have fun!
avacadoes or artichokes, small tossed salad of baby spinach, sweet basil, hard boiled eggs, green onion and radishes--YUM!!! Olive oil and lemon juice dressing with salt and pepper and any other herb you want to add for flavor... of course with red wine...
The biggest jerk in my book was our ex-CEO for Qwest--he's in a soft touch jail sentenc and was looking for an appeal.. The jerk walked away with millions of dollars of us poor peeons that had invested so much money--faked our stock for alot more than what it was worth, froze the ability for us to move our money around, ran away with it, and is getting away with it...we've all worked damn hard for our money, been faithful to the company, and we have a theif that took our money and ran, our stock was at $60.00 a share and now is about $5.00 a share--tidy profit eh?!
why do people post "what do you think of me" get on with it and jump in, or stand back and not be counted.... life is too damn short, you may be missing out on that connection waiting to see who responds to your "what do you think of me"? Am I being too weird about this? I don't understand the extra step of coming into the forums by asking this question---some people accept you and others don't
Hi everyone! Am trying to get a show of interest in Colorado--if the hotel accomodations come through will be in Westminster Colorado--am checking into hotels and other venues locally, and will plan a local place to meet. Have found a club downtown for those who like to dance that teaches salsa for free!! Thye have live music which is fantastic, and there are the mountains to see, local places to go ride your bike if you want, local restaurants that have great food, local mall that have restaurants and big movie houses, Dave and Busters-caters more to video game players...I have 5 limos that could be lined up, one is a Hummer that seats 25-so after La Rumba salsa, there are other clubs to go to---I have a place in mind for a Sunday brunch...and surely there will be some people here in Colorado that may want to show you some of the sites around here like our world famous Red Rocks which also has a theatre set up for world famous concerts, lots of great restaurants, many things I can start listing if anyone has a request of things they might like to do, please let us know!!! Looking at the date of August 20th-23..so please don't be shy, jump in and say you want to come!
I'm checking into whereall we can have it set up to meet at, may be a couple of different times during the weekend which would be great so we can mix it up, and those that don't want to go to the bar don't have to, I'll see what all is available for us, so that maybe we can cover most bases---am shooting for August 20th

Yes, I think or at second sight--you see someones profile again and you think OMG that guy or girl is hot, and you go for it, talk to them, what have you got to lose, and your have everything to gain...I'll take a risk..

I can't bring myself to even see, from all your comments I'm in tears already. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs, I guard them carefully, and I'm so sad whenever I see one hit by the road, if only...
My neighbors dog got out and was staying by the house. I brought it water and a bit of food hoping it would stay til it's masters got home...now I've been looking for 2 days and see no sign of the little black dog. Either it was picked up, or worse run over..I just ache feeling how scared and lonely that little dog must feel, locked up if it is in the dog pound, waiting for it's owner..I'm almost tempted to go check the kennel, maybe they couldn't afford to pay, or it did get run over..

Chemistry sure, but slow it down.....when you meet someone it's weird to just blurt out "I love you" unless your've been talking a while, which you didnt' state how long..could be...never have done it ....meeting someone for real....I think if you're hot for each other and the flame is a burnin, well, I think it'll be pretty hot...but don't throw love into all of it, that evolves I think ove a bit of time...even 2 hours,lol....
there's also Dave and Busters up the road....alot of things, maybe some of the limos could take people to other places around there if that's not what they want to do...come on folks, get involved here, August isn't that far away!!!!! I'll check to see where the bus to Blackhawk is..there is plenty of things to do, just say what you want.....Lets get going!!!!
