They say that's what makes the world go round. I agree with them. We can be different in many ways and still have no wrong or right. Just ways of looking at things and responding to life. It's all good.

If they didn't then I would not feel "fine" about that. I would however discuss the issue with them and if we could not come to an equitable agreement I might reconsider my commitment to the relationship since there might be an unequal commitment that would leave me feeling used.

The question on the original post was about expectations. I stated that I would have none. Expectations can lead to disappointment when they are not met. I prefer not to set myself up for those disappointments.

I would not "expect" anything from the person I loved. I would help them however I could and I would hope that the person I loved would willing do the same for me and if they could not contribute to the benefit of the household by earning money then I hope they would help in other ways.

Thanks for bringing this up Saxon. The perverts are sickening but I think that is what they want to be. They don't get anywhere with decent women.

I personally will read and respond to all mail so don't stop sending it on their account. My response to the perverts mail is to get their profiles removed. My response to a decent mans mail is to answer them. Keep 'em coming.

IMO Only if the issues that caused the split up have been resolved. If they haven't then there will be the same old drama that you left to get away from in the past.

Not all ladies pick their lovers because of their looks. These men had power and prestige (the operative word here is "had") but then it really isn't about the ladies.

Oh they knew the risk/reward ratio. They just didn't believe they would get caught. They were thinking with their if that thing can think. Perhaps all politicians should be made mute eunuchs upon election and then they could be seen and not heard and faithful to their wives. That way too we might get men of real dedication to the service of their constituents.

But alas, it would be so BORING!

You didn't mention John Edwards or Henry McMasters. For that matter you left out Sheriff Leon Lott and Sheriff James Metts.

It's not the water Ooby. Consider the fact that the Bible Belt of the Deep South was controlled and repressed for so long by the Southern Baptists and you can see that our poor politicians just haven't been housebroken properly. They need a little more exposure to the modern world and then their manners, political agendas and conduct may improve.

We are constantly amused and entertained here in SC by our politicians. Swing by and I'll save you a front row seat.

Do I have to conform to all of these to qualify? And who says what is accepted? Who decides what is average? Who determines what is adequate? You really need to help me figure this one out or I won't know how to answer the poll.

Simon Cowell has no talent personally either but he is an excellent judge of what talent can make money. Ellen is a comedian but she is also very smart when it comes to business. Music is a big business so maybe she will do well. In the end it is left to the voters to make the final decision so she might at least make it fun to get to that point.
