I never went to mine. I feel no need to see what others have done and I am secure in who I am and there is nobody important enough to me and my life that I would want to see them. My family and friends..those who are currently in my life are who and what contribute to who I am...the rest...don't mean a row of beans... But everybody id different...My sister went and loved it. She however seems to spend a lot more time thinking about the past, the glory days...My glory days are now and yet to come hopefully

I don't give this much thought. If it feels like the right moment I go for it. If he can't handle someone his equal in all things it's dead in the water anyway. Just as well to know up front. I'm too old to have the patience to be delicate about handling a fragile male ego...can you say...high maintenance?

I realized I wasn't looking a while ago. You know when you get a flower from someone you don't recognize and feel irritated that yet another a**hole is approaching you. Lousy attitude I know. It was when this thought ran through my head I changed my profile to say 'not looking' ...I'm here to read posts of people I have come to know and appreciate. Flower and email people who I have gotten to know. That does not mean I am closed to meeting new people and I have. I just haven't got the patience to do 'the dance' right now.

I got windshield wipers for Valentines day one year. I wasn't amused but all my friends thought it was hysterical...It's what ya get for telling a man to think outside the box...

You're on to something there. People are more honest in what they don't say. To say something you run the risk of confrontation, hurt feelings, ruffeled feathers... what have you... But omitting what should be said does not necessarily have the same repercussions...clear as mud right?
