Here in South Australia a couple of the Local Councils , to stop youth gangs congregating in shopping malls, etc they have erected speakers & played Abba, Leo Sayer, Barry Manilow, etc all night & its stopped the kids meeting there.
Its either the cruelest thing ever done or it just bores the kids to tears
It took me a while to get the hang of them both especially freebird. ended up starting with the old classics on guitar smoke on the water, stairway to heaven & hotel california. then progressed to the 2 lynard skynard songs.
The east end of Adelaide & North Adelaide are great to visit cafes, lots of unique shop, etc, the Adelaide Central Market is a wonderful atmosphere & there are diverse places like Glenelg, Port Adelaide , Semaphore, largs Bay, Henley Beach & Norwood which are all wonderful suburbs to visit. Then there is Hahndorf & other small towns in the Adelaide Hills, The Barossa Valley for the wine & food & also Mclaren vale for the same thing
Well when you do visit Adelaide we will have to get together & I will take you to the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills & don south where I live by the southern ocean. I actually am yet to visit Bateau Bay
That is really sad, I have heard of similar stories here like yours . Out of curosity is it because of knowing what happened to the young lad or it just doesnt have a good feel, to the reason you dont like being in the garage
Lionel knew how to write a good love song & unchaned melody is one of those songs that is not only a beautiful love song but is a wonderful mood song aswell
