I clicked Michael Caine because not only is he a good actor but I found out he was part of the Glorious Glosters during the Korean war. NOt sure if he was one of the 37 at Imjin, but it is likely because after that nothing would phase him.
there was one other though that I consider the best actor I have ever seen (it just happened to be in a movie made here in NZ-didn't realize that at the time, about a NZer- they go that bit wrong as it was aussie kit) & he is British but wouldn't be considered an actor.
The film was "Merry Xmas Mr Lawerence" with David Bowie in the lead role. hard film to watch but brilliant.
Reply to patmac:yes I should have put Ewan Mcgregor and also David Niven;Sean Bean;Colin Firth;Hugh Grant etc.but there are just 10 possible choices and 1 of them has got to be other so I've chucked in there the 4-5 the bet is about mixed out with a few others!
