I even like David Suchet , especially with his prtrayal of Poirot.

& the actor who played Hornblower impresses me


Sean Bean I think Steve6610 . But Its Richard Burton and Anthony Hopkins for me. Oh and Charles Laughton In Mutiny on the Bounty and of course Qasimodo (THE BELLS !!!)actors that truely take on the character the are portaying thumbs up

I have since found out that it was Ioann Gruffud who played Hornblower.

I also like Richard Burton & Charles Laughton.

The British aren't really known for their acting skills, but Sir John Geilgud stands out, especially his work in "Arthur" alongside Dudley Moore.

Points also to Peter O'Toole (actually Irish) and of course Peter Sellers.

I thought that Baby Bean was particularly hideous! Sir Richard Burton is also fab!

Bob Hope (Although I love him mostly as a comedian)
Billy Connolly (Again a very funny comedian, but first time I saw him was on an American show called "Head of the Class" I was mesmerized by his humor!!)
