Please do come and visit our beautiful country again. It's actually only cold here in the winter. However, the winters are long. With the exception of the snow, it's actually not too bad. The sun shines even in the winter though not a warm sunshine. It's warm here now.
Yes Canada is a GREAT country. I have lived and worked in 6 countries worldwide as an IT Consultant. I was educated in the US, lived and worked in the US, I have family and several friends in the US but I find Canada to be the best country I have ever lived in.

I am a vegetarian, almost a raw vegan. I sometimes eat eggs and cheese, otherwise I would pass for a true vegan as I eat mostly fruits, raw veggies and nuts most of the time.

Yes I got banned from that stupid VISA thread and all I did was to express my views and ask questions on things I didn't understand from the OP. It was not clear if the OP was talking about VISA credit card or an immigration visa. What does it mean to say that British and American women love visa than their men?????
No, I know a lot of people who don't want to live in the US. including me, even though I have family there, I went to school in the US, I know more people there than Canada.
Now, what is the OP thinking?
I have had people from mostly Asia, on here, propose to marry me for papers to Canada so it is not only American or British women who think some foreign men want to be with them for immigration visa Just last week I had someone from Roumania ask me for immigration sponsorship to Canada

If I make friends along the way, fine, that will be a bonus and I will welcome it with open arms but I am not here looking for a date nor a lover nor a husband. I have made some friends and I appreciate that but life goes on .....

I live alone and work from home and on the internet so I am often on CS. I get a good laugh sometimes in the blogs but I don't enjoy the bashing and infighting that go on here sometimes. I know I am feisty and controversial but that's the way I am - the real me. I am learning now too avoid some posters and some threads, just stay out of throuble.

Sorry, but paid sites are NO better than this one. That has been my experience. I have been on paid sites before. On 1 paid site I was on I blocked over 500, yes over 500 guys in just 3 months! I have been here for over a year now and I have only blocked about 100. And I don't get a lot of scammers.
