I had 4 spoonfuls of benalyn cough medicine or whatever it's called. 2 of the 3 in one 24 hour flu relief or whatever they are plus 2 paracetamol I wont be doing that again tonight. I dread to think what might have happened if alarm never went off when it did

I had an horrible dream last night

I dreamt I was walking down a cycle path which I usually use. But, when I walked past the big houses that are converted into flats. I was dragged into one and it was full of vampires and they took me on a coach trip picking up vampires along the way.

Then I woke up 'cos the alarm went off. What a relief

I've a friend who lost her husband to Parkinsons disease last year and she took 2 stray cats in and she says the same thing

I also had a cockatiel for 11 years which was bought from a petshop and never tamed so I know what you mean.

Two weeks after she died two years ago I got the one I have now and made sure she was hand reared and easy to handle. My budgie was very wild and nervous when I got him too but he was only 6 weeks old so tamed really quickly

You will have to take a photo of your new birds and put it on your profile Are lovebirds good talkers? My cockatiel can't talk, I think because shes female and they rarely talk. But, my budgie, he's male and a proper chatterbox. He sits there tutting, imitates laughs and can say "Budgie" "Budgie baby" "Budgie, budgie" and "Are you a budgie" his voice is so cute

I've only ever had goose once in my life. It was about 20 years ago and the bloke I was living with at the time cooked it and all I can remember is him pouring loads of grease out of the tray it was cooking in every 30 minutes and the meat turned blacker and blacker which I thought was hilarious as I expected it to be like chicken or turkey meat

Anyway, when it was all cooked, nobody wanted to eat any of it even the cats I had at the time turned their noses up at it

So, he ended up throwing it in the dustbin and his mother took the grease home to rub her doors down with or something weird like that

Where have they gone though? Have they all been banned or are they on their christmas and new year vacations? If they have been banned, is it short term or long term?

I suppose what I'm asking is if they've gone for good or is our new found peace only short term
