I make sure its in a public place.. I never tell them my surname or where I live.

and I always give some friends as much detail as I know about the person.. (I usually check them out myself too) I try to follow up anything they tell me about themselves to see if its true or not. I give my friends the address of where im going (hotel of wherever)..The persons home addy and phone numbers.. place of work.. email addresses.. etc.. JUST incase.
I don't tell the person I'm meeting where im staying either.. haha I'm paranoid.

I think people that are selfless in what they do for others deserve recognition.

I changed a flat tyre on my mother in laws car once.. (I didn't tell her I had never done it before)...


All done.. she jumped in.. thanked me and drove off...

I couldn't fault my mother in law.. she was brilliant (well still is.. we are all still very close)

She was/is a good friend to me.. and always helped out when needed.. and bit her tongue when she COULD have said something. I was vereeee lucky I know.

although I surprise myself.. when I'm in Vegas I go out on my own a lot. So im a lot more *brave* than I thought.. haha

To be honest.. years ago it would bother me.. and I would NEVER have done it. Now I just don't care who thinks what of me being alone in a club / bar.
