You shouldn't be wearing earphones while driving anyway.Why you would do such a thing.It not only keeps you from hearing other vehicles but also put you in others in danger cause you're really distracted.
You did fine.I've seen so many people reading,text messageing,talking to the other passengers etc while driving.Plus I've seen dings on their vehicles which means they probably hit someone,something or was ran into.
