Thorns

It's not love
When someone is
hitting you
in the face
with a rose
when the thorns
are still on it.

the sleeping goddess

golden sleeping goddess.
silent stirrings within,
nestled deep within blues
'til senual lingerings
cause you to surface.
with fire of the soul
to guide you
consume in passion
until fulfilled.
tumbling off
warm winds of
content naked emotions.
curling over the ashes
for embers of spent heat.
quiet stillwater emerges again
to sooth into dreams
the strange enchantress
'til next caresses
of desirable flames
causes you to tremble
and rise again.

So long

so long since i saw you
so long since i felt you
so long since you've been gone.
and i miss you.
more than you know.

so long since we talked
so long since we shared
so long since we touched
and i love you
more than you know.

all hallows eve

tonight the veil
is lifted
between our worlds
and theirs.
we may talk
with those we miss
and love.
tonight
we can touch
each other
once again.
tonight
i can tell you
how much I
miss you and love you.
my darling
i miss you so much.
tonight
i can feel you
near me once again.
only for tonight.
only for tonight.

moods

someone once called her
a woman of many moods
she thought it fine
at the time
then later changed her mind

dark eyes

i never should have said hello
or let your dark eyes catch me.
i felt myself slipping
and did nothing to help myself.
i don't know whether
to laugh or cry.
i never should have let you hold me
or let your warm mouth find mine.
too late now
to free myself from your voice.
i said hello and now
i cannot find the words
to say goodby.
it would not matter,
i wouldn't be able to use them.
i am bound to you,
yet I don't even know you,
and i am blindly happy
in my despair.

midnight beach

if i could have you
on the beach at midmight.
if you would take me
on the dark wet sand,
and let the tide fill us
with salty mists.
water crawling up my thighs
like gentle fingers...
and so lost in you.
with the moon
trailing on the water
and the wind just so,
if you only held me
and brushed your lips
softly to my cheek...
it would be enough,
jut to have you close.

rain

....and slowly
the rain comes down.
soft and steady
cool upon
the bareness of my heart.

Mist

mist falls softly
on the leaves
then gathers and runs
to the tips and jumps
like
children on slides.
smoke curls into shapes
and disappears quickly
like dreams.
i breath deeply
of you then let you go.
wrong number
on the phone.
twice.
something tells me
i'm crazy inside. my mind i think.
want you.
want you now.
love you.
regardless of what anyone
else says.
so there.

you

i still feel you,
curled next to me.
i run my hands
up your back
and you feel
so smooth and hard.
it makes me
want to touch
all parts of you...
before i'm finished.

i don't sleep well
when i lie next
to you,
but i don't want
to sleep
when i lie
next to you.

ocean

i saw the ocean at night
when the waves crash upon the cold wet sand
and the moon leaves a trail of light
along the quiet waters to the stars.
the largeness and force frightened me,
but i fell in love with the calmness.
and the ebb and flow of the tide
soothed meas a salty wind blew across my face.
i knelt on the beach and let the warm fingers
of the ocean caress my hair and skin.
if i could i would let it carry me away.
to be free like the ocean to reach out
like i reach out to you...
and know that it will always touch
something,someone, somewhere.
to follow the moon as it follows the ocean...
as i follow you to the ends
of the earth.
