A NEEDLE IN A HAY STACK

FINDING THE NEEDLE IN A HAY Stack
THE ONE PERSON IN LIFE YOU LACK
ONE CAN SEARCH THEIR WHOLE LIFE LONG
ONLY TO SETTLE ON SOMEONE WHO IS ALL WRONG
IN YOUR DREAMS YOU MIGHT FEEL A ESSENCE THERE
BUT WHEN YOU WAKE ALL YOU FEEL IS DESPAIR
YOU MIGHT CATCH A GLIMPSE IN A STRANGERS EYE
AS YOU ARE PASSING BY
THAT WILL LATER MAKE YOU WONDER AND SIGH
LET YOUR SPIRIT ALWAYS HOPE
AND DON'T GO AROUND AND MOPE
BECAUSE WHO KNOWS?

Geisha

In a land where blossoms fly
I am a beauty beyond compare
from the charcoal on my eyes
to the rare jewels in my hair

I was born to entertain
with each whirl of my silk fan
from feeling I do abstain
to cast beauty is my plan

With one look you stop and stare
at my clean white painted mask
and my bejeweled silky black hair
under your stare I do bask

Grace and beauty I do share
I long to capture your stare

Rescatado por la Tormenta

You are the storm raging through my brain
consuming my every thought like pelting rain.
Your sweet words are like rain drops from heaven divine
and will be forever branded in this heart of mine
Engulfed in a enchanting aura
It is only you I want more of

Rescatado por la tormenta
"Rescued by the storm"

The Star lit sky

AS I LOOK INTO THE STAR LIT NIGHT
THESE FEELINGS FOR YOU I SO DO FIGHT
THE WALL I BUILT AROUND MY HEART
BRICK BY BRICK YOU ARE TEARING IT APART
SCARED,PRUDENT AND SHY
UP TO THE STARS I WISH THESE FEELINGS WOULD FLY
I WISH I COULD BE BRAZEN AND BOLD
AND THEN MAYBE I COULD HAVE YOU TO HOLD
INSTEAD I LOOK IN TO THE STAR LIT SKY
AND TRY WITH ALL MY MIGHT NOT TO CRY

My Great Grandma

YOU RAISED ME UNTIL I WAS SEVEN
LOOKING BACK THOSE DAYS WERE HEAVEN

IN MY MIND I CAN SEE THE LITTLE YELLOW HOUSE AND THE FIG TREE I USE TO CLIMB
MY MEMORY'S ARE STILL CLEAR AND THOSE DAYS HAVE NOT FADED WITH TIME

AT NIGHT YOU WOULD ROCK ME IN YOUR ARMS
AND I KNEW I WAS SAFE FROM ALL HARM

AT CHRISTMAS YOU WOULD MAKE COOKIES AND MINCEMEAT PIE
I MISS THOSE TIMES THAT WERE FILLED WITH LOVE SO MUCH I WANT TO CRY

I WILL ALWAYS HOLD YOU IN MY HEART
EVEN THOUGH NOW WE ARE FAR APART

ONE DAY SOON I WILL MEET YOU ON THAT PEACEFUL SHORE
WERE WE WILL WALK HAND IN HAND FOREVER MORE

The Irish Fisherman

Water, sand and the sea it is all a part of me
Irish to the core
Who could ask for more?
I don't lift my finger to sip my tea
I am a power-lifter don't you see?
Blunt and very tough
Around the edges a little rough
But when I pick up my pen
I can take you places you have never been
As I let my words flow
Your knowledge will surely grow!

Twin Flames

A poet once wrote about a twin flame,
but what if your flame is not a twin flame?
instead something deeper, brighter, and forever dancing together?
what if the poet missed the mark?
What if my flame was meant to be forever entwined and dancing with another flame?
and not the same as the other flame.

About this poem:

Just some food for thought...

Only the good LORD knows the hour and the day we will be taken away
HE is the only one that knows how long we get to stay
So let your loved ones know that you love them each and every day
For how ever long you get to stay
kiss them and hug them often
And keep your heart softened
because you never know if this will be your last day
So pick up the phone to just say hey
Help people in there time of need
And stay away for greed
Every night before you lay
Don't forget to pray
