There’s this boy
He knows what he is
He’s the guilty feelings
He’s the one last kiss
But I never felt what I should
It’s never been bliss
He’s the guilty feelings
He’s the lingering kiss
So why or should I say how
Did I let myself feel like this?
He’s never been good and
He’s far from Mr right
He’s a push and a shove
He’s just this constant fight.
He’s all these feelings and
He’s all these things
Somehow it’s never happiness
That he brings.
So why do I let myself feel like this
For guilty feelings
For a lingering kiss!

Does happiness
depend on love
only the lucky few
can possess it?
so the rest of the
unlucky are left
broken hearted?
it doesn't seem fair
that love isn't for
everyone to share.
what or who says
we need love
to be happy?
what or who can
stop us from
being as happy as
we can be?
what or who says
I want you to
love me?!!

Does a damaged soul
seek the soul
that is equally as
damaged?
Is it our natural natural
instinct to self destruct?
Do we seek our glory
in causing mayhem and menace?
Can't the world slow down?
-let us move at our own pace.
Then may be we'll find
the right one
at the right time
in the right place.

I’ve forgotten what it is to love and be loved.
I had given up on the hope of finding bliss
Sealing the deal with one simple kiss!
I seemed to have learned that love was harder than this.
So now I choose to avoid what I can of love.
Some may say I’m a coward,
Other’s deem me wise
But you know nothing of love
If you don’t know of love’s lies!

I don't believe
that we have to feel love
with our significant other
to tell you the truth
love isn't a feeling
it's a fear
a thing we admit
to keep someone here
so why can't we keep
things the way they are
never feeling anything close
but never pushing it too far

Take me back to the time
When you were happy to be mine
Take me back to the time
I didn’t need to cry over you
Take me back to a time that we could’ve fallen
Take me back to when you wanted to
But I’m not fooling anyone, especially me
We were never going to be in love
How could we be?
Take me back and I’ll list the things I won’t do
Take me back to the time before you!

Shame faced
Heart beating
Quick paced
Love of once upon a time
A simple hope, that you could be mine
Tear stained
Love torn
Heart pained
Love left without the chance
You disappeared without a second glance!
Feelings numb
Losing the one
Love has been shred
And now love has been replaced
With fear and dread

i wish i never loved you
then maybe i wouldnt be
as jaded as i feel
maybe i'd believe in love
maybe i'd see it's real
I still pine for your
recognition
i parade around for you to see
desperately wanting
you to notice me
but i've realised
why should i care?
at the end of the day
you were never really there
you're not my judge
nor am i your contestant
so lets just call it
what it was:
just another life lesson!!!!
