Would be certainly fine by me... or Keno, the environment is a little more conducive to allow discussion/talk... people tend to get a little irritated (I don't blame them) when people chatter during number calls in a Bingo area... Keno allows the same slower pace, in so far as not emptying the bank account as fast, without the library environment...
Are you one of those 'play a million sheets at once' folks?? I prefer Bingo to be more relaxing...
What other things you hoping/looking to do while there? Anybody new to Vegas is certainly going to want to see the Mirage Volcano, Bellagio Fountains, Freemont, etc.... street shows...

I'll be in Vegas the first couple of weeks of July, the I am off to the San Francisco bay area and the LA area...I should be back in time for this get together...more than likely the 27-29...I can't wait to celebrate the 4th in Vegas...good times it should be with my brother....
well there will be plenty of show tickets for you guys since it will be the middle of summer so no problem there if thats what you plan . Also, the volcano at Mirage is closed till November , they are giving it a make over. I'm not sure who will be at the forum at ceasars but it will either be elton john, bette midler, or cher . They all share the forum this year. Danny Gans is still at Mirage till December, then he moves to the Encore which will open then and is next to Wynn owned by Wynn. CarrotTop is at Luxor, Star Trek Experience at Hilton, Phantom of the Opera at Venetian, Blue Man Group at Venetian, of course the Fremont Street Experience every night on the hour till midnight , that is a great 5-7 minute light show on the worlds biggest screen , live bands there to every night . they still have 99 cent shrimp cocktails at golden gate downtown if you get a players card and if you buy a drink on Fremont , they give you a coupon for buy 1 get 1 free shrimp cocktail . if anyone is interested in playing texas hold em poker , thew best rooms are Bellagio, Venetian, MGM Grand, and Mirage if you are a good player. If you are a beginner or ok player, then go to Luxor, Excalibur, Stratosphere, or Harrahs and Flamingo. Buffets run from 7.77 downtown at the Plaza to 44.99 at the Bellagio. We have indoor skydiving, go karts, and Circus Circus has the worlds biggest indoor amusement park. More to come later when i get next fridays paper and see what concerts and shows will be here the week of the get together

well i don't wanna ruin anything out, i mean where would be the fun if i did that? I think it would just be nice to socialize and meet people i probably wouldn't have the opportunity to meet. You are right about bingo, some ol lady gave me dirty looks one time when my phone went off, actually more than one. beng from phx, its amazing how i don't go much... but thanks to this meet up, i get the chance.

keytone: there is a big awards event I am going to for the Salon I work in. It is the weekend before (july 13th sunday), if I do attend, and I plan on it as it is a very big honor for my friends just to be nominated, then maybe I could stay through the week and meet up,,I will be looking at my schedule and how much lodging is in vegas. Maybe I can play my guitar on the sidewalk for change. lol.

Well, you get what you pay for here in Vegas too, so a buffet for 7.77 you don't get too much selection. I have been to that one a couple times and it's not very impressive . If you all want good buffets without spending too much, you can go to Rio, Bally's, Harrah's, Sahara, Tropicana, Riviera. If you want to spend a little more, then go to Mirage, Luxor, Treasure Island, Stratosphere. And if you want the best, then go to Bellagio, Ceasars Palace, Paris, New York New York, or Mandalay Bay. Will post another section on the club and bar scene on Friday for you all. See ya

Sorry , I don't know much about names of punk bands but if you go to click on entertainment then click upcoming shows , it will tell you all venues and shows and you can find your punk shows if there are any that week... it should be in the Neon section of the paper

I am an auburn haired lady and I lived in sweden but as far as joining you there forget it I had a year there and will never go out of the states again lol. I lived in Orsa down by Mora do you know where that is if you go to the Orsa Hotel and ask for a drink ask for a bert they names it after me lol and tell the owner I said hello.
