Lies

Perhaps I am too impatient or naive, but why on earth should someone live on lies
What pride in it I think people who lie alot are murderers, thieves and kind of a disgrace to mankind...the more lies you tell the more I distant myself.

wave The hypnotised never lie.thumbs up
Ok if you sure about that I won't say a thing
We are taught to lie from childhood. Our leaders lie to us for their our own good. Our teachers teach us something that is not entirely natural to us, and mould us to fit a norm which is, in its own way, a form of lying.

We learn that people react to us if we say certain things, and the most favourable reactions are to things they want to hear. That means, as often as not, we end up lying. Pathological liars are a slightly different ballgame, but not all liars are pathological.

Impatient or naive? yes, I think you are. I also don't follow your reasoning that all liars are ipso facto murderers thieves and a disgrace to mankind.

What this is, though, is an honest answer. You will get other answers from people who say they never lie. They're lying laugh
Hahaha El,
You are justifying with liars simply because of our mixed feelings or the negative reaction/impact a lie can cause in that we sink in positively please No....has it ever happened to you when you least expect it thats when it turns out real.
All the hustle you go through all your sacrifices you have made then at the peek of some expected positive results someone breaks your heart.
exactly. seeing truth or experiencing truth is subjective.

truth is not real, it is an abstract. and even evolving in time.
so lying is normal. changing things is what we see and experience
No-one has broken my heart yet and I hope no-one ever will. Or maybe I don't have one uh oh

But sure I have been lied to, and sure I once got caught up with a pathological liar and they are incredibly exasperating. I accept though that not everyone - hardly anyone - tells the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, from day one. The whole truth comes with time. Persistent lies will also be exposed with time, and someone who cannot stop themselves lying is a complete waste of time, yes.

However, I write fiction so on one level I am always 'lying'! I do know the difference, though, and I do work at keeping the lies to the books laugh
El thank you
I love fiction romance books is that what you put down too?
My ex fiance who was 60 years old. He was not a person who knew how to speak truth. When something is white he would say it was black! He lied about everything, he just could not speak the truth.he got me engaged for two years, he told that even though he had retired he had saved us money to get married and to build our home. When it was time that we build a home or get married, he woke up one day and say he was going to withdraw the money. When he came back he said the computer were offline he could not withdraw.he woke up the second kept and thirt day, fourth, fifth, coming back with excuses. Only to found out that that was not true, he didnt have money he was living on government grant. He said to me his first born daughter was a social worker, his second daughter was working at the bank. I found out that his first daughter was not working, his second daughter was just a security guard! So when he sew that lies has caught up with him he left. When i came from work i found him gone!since that experience i am very alert! I have problem with trusting people. I want to see proof. If one talks about things i dont see, i dont believe every word they say. I think this has messed me up. A person who lies turns me off! I just switch off, specially in a relationship
Eh people with lies once they are caught they always vanish for good..
77 some men are like that they can't handle the bitter truth of being bloke
Somewhere, years back I read a psychological study, revealing that all speak 10-20 'harmless' lies/day.conversing
