Spot on

Yesterday was my 8th day in my new job. I got hold of a box to put air bags to be used in wrapping packages. I put it beside the table assigned to me and off I went to gather the boxes I'll use too. It wasn't even a minute and when I came back just in time to see a lady who was on her 3rd day grabbing the box of air bags to her table which was at my front. She is fair-skinned, dressed up like any Japanese lady in her 40's, speaks Japanese very fluently, greets everyone just like any Japanese would normally do. I thought she was Japanese till that very minute. Seeing her grabbing the box which she saw me filling up with air bags and she saw me pulling it beside my work table and she saw me seeing her snatching that very box, I'm just disappointed. I won't mention the nationality so as not to be branded racist. What I did was put down the boxes and showed her the boxes of air bags assigned to her which was at the top of a rack to her left side. Good for her since the boxes were a lot bigger than the one assigned to me. That means less time for her to refill them. She joined us during lunch break and I had a closer look at her. There was something out of place on her upper ear part. Not so sure but she seemed to underwent cosmetic surgery. Heck! She's someone I shld stay away from. Didn't even say sorry till we bid goodbye at around 21:00 hrs. Definitely not Japanized. But all in all I like the company I'm presently with. The very first company I've worked so far that keeps me smiling till I'm home. That alone erases the bad scene this morning. Happy weekend to me and to everyone!teddybear heart wings bouquet

Google in it's never ending quest for world domination has decided we need self driving electric cars, firstly why would we want a car that drives itself confused bearing in mind this is from Google, never known to have flaws in it's software wow doh so I can't see it being safer, mind if going slowly makes it safer then maybe, the Google car is one of the few stopped by the police for going too slowly yawn as Google picture search can't tell the difference between a man & a woman half the time I can't see it being able to spot a child kicking a ball out between parked cars, let alone expect it to run into the road to retrieve it professor personally I wouldn't want a car that selects a route to take in all the shops that advertise on Google, there'll be traffic jams outside them so plenty of time to window shop mumbling

Secondly, coming back to the pictures, as President Barack Obama's plans to regulate emissions of carbon dioxide from US power plants have been stalled by the US Supreme Court today, are electric cars the way forward dunno in some states in the USA coal fired power stations make up 95% of production, meaning the Google car is just like the smokey old steam engine in the picture, just that the chimney is in a different place roll eyes surely if Google wants to produce something useful looking at clean energy should be the first step dunno

If You Could?

If you could change the world, what would you do to change things?

I would stop all war, encourage alternative energies, and make love and tolerance a way of life instead of power and greed.

As The Cookie Crumbles

A few years back, after the original founder of Wounded Warriors passed away, there was a noticeable uptick in the television advertising for the non-profit. I noticed this one afternoon when it seemed that every other commercial was for the foundation and I wondered out loud that certainly no national television network, no matter how generous they are, could afford to donate that much commercial time to a single organization. And so started my quest to learn more about this foundation.

There was plenty of smoke and flame about them, but the one thing that really caught my attention was the fervor in which the organization attacked any of their critiques. Not just verbal, but incredible over the top legal threats and actual legal action towards anyone that said anything negative about them in more than a private setting. And there was the distribution of funds. The most noteworthy foundations for vets distributes 80-90% of their funds directly to the benefit of the veterans. Wounded Warriors has been at 60%.

This evening the CBS news report finally reported their findings from a long standing investigation. That report showed many lavish parties, extraordinary expenses, and a long line of former employee’s that confirmed it all; some of which that were so terrified of the organization they would not even show their faces for fear of retaliation. The only spokesperson for the organization refused to answer any direct questions and only towed the line with the same double speak we have come to expect from too many similar organizations and political figures that don’t like being put on the spot.

My word of caution to each of you is to research any organization to send money too. If they seem to be running too many TV commercials, check them out. If it smells a bit fishy, it probably is and be especially suspicious of those that require a minimal donation or “membership”. That’s a sure sign of a scam and there are far too many legitimate organizations out there that will put the money where it belongs. And lastly, find out what their CEO is being paid. Those organizations that are truly all about the cause they claim will have a modestly paid leader and a lot of low pay, no pay people giving of themselves the way we would expect.

In these times of less that wonderful jobs and benefits, we need to make sure that our hard earned money goes where we want it, not to another bunch of hucksters that only want to line their own pockets.

Simple Daily Requirements

As Americans we have no shortage of issues to gripe about and to be perfectly blunt, nearly all of them are our own fault. Yes, no matter who is to blame, we all own a part of the fault. It may be our direct actions or actions that happen because we turned a blind eye and assumed that somebody else would take care of it. Come on, think about it. When is the last time you walked past a discarded piece of trash and rather than stop and pick it up, you determined that would be somebody else’s job? Most of the time it is something that seems to be only a simple annoyance, but all too often these little things end up being very large things and there you are; right back at pointing a finger at somebody else.

Flint Michigan is now encountering that very issue and despite the attempts to make it out to be a racially motivated issue, the real issue is poor planning and even poorer execution on bunch of people that were elected and trusted to do “the right thing”. In their haste, they lost site of the fact that their community was rapidly changing. Jobs lost, people moving out, a shortage of funds and poor maintenance of their water system were the indirect causes. The real cause was a governmental body that squandered money for decades before, putting off the much needed basic’s in order to promote other things that really didn’t make a difference.

We are seeing this all across the country. Every state has it’s nightmare scenario and it won’t take much to trigger serious issues that turn into a catastrophe that could not have been avoided. Or could it? We have accepted politicians that have turned elections into Hollywood night extravaganza’s and allowed these same politicians to squander public money on special, high profile, projects that get their picture in the paper, but do little to benefit the population.

Too often we elect officials who’s credentials show no training or education at operating municipalities and have no experience in the same. There is no requirement for them to possess even the basic qualifications, to understand how to create and stick to a budget, to manage union and non-union work forces, to understand the demand on the public worker as well as the expectations of the everyday citizen and lastly, we citizens have no idea of what we should be expecting from these workers or elected officials. It is truly the blind leading the blind.

Every state, city, municipality, town or village has certain basic requirements that cannot be ignored and must be met every single day in order for that organization to operate properly, efficiently and in the best interest of it’s citizens. Skip one or two steps and you have started down the road to eventual disaster or very costly repairs to bring things back to even keel. The basics like electricity, potable water, sewage treatment, trash collection, road repairs, etc. must be met or the community eventually falls into decay. Mayors and elected officials need to be dull, drab figures that worry more about pothole repair than the next photo-op at a new public park. They need to look at all the costs, not just what was needed to build it and walk away from it. Parks are good, but clean running water and sewage removal are mandatory. Without both we quickly slip into a 3rd world environment where public health is a major concern and child mortality rates steadily rise. Remember who elects these people? WE DO.

This is a subject not being taught in our schools so children do not grow up understanding the importance of these most basic needs. We can play the latest video game with great perfection, but cannot change a simple faucet in our house. It is time we demand these topics be addressed, our children and ourselves educated and our elected officials start paying attention to the basics and leave the glitz and glamour to the movie stars, where it belongs.

What's with ISIS??....

I find some very important questions that must be answered regarding ISIS and their purpose, goals, and motives... (1) What is it that ISIS is really seeking? (2) Are not their goals rather unrealistic? (3) What makes their tactics any different than Hitler and the Nazis in Europe back in the day?

ISIS attack the people of their own Muslims religious faith, as well as non-Muslims, Christians and Jews... yet their same Muslim people still face hunger, all kinds of sicknesses and diseases, and inhumane treatments of violence and death in their countries; and inhumane treatments of violence and death from the hands of ISIS, so there is no change for the good of the people or for ISIS. Therefore, how is it that ISIS can even began to imagine overtaking the world with their rhetoric and propaganda, and remotely think that they will be welled received as world conquers over the people of the world without a fight and resistance.

Where do they get their Medieval thinking from, and from whence do they gather such teachings, that what they are doing is right and pleasing to a righteous God? Surely, they have been deceived and lied to by someone who is sitting back and not joining the fight, but are sending them to kill and to be killed with a false hope that a righteous God is welled pleased. Of course, I know their god is not the God of the Bible, therefore, their god is a liar along with whoever they listen to, and who has deceived them is also a big liar....destined for a big burning hell!

But, Who are they wanting to help and/or helping?... and most importantly who are they fooling with their attacks in an attempt to bring about a positive change for Muslim people or their religion?... I don't recall hearing of any nation of people who has suffered inhumane violence at the hands of any single handed violent group of thugs, and the people or nation being conquered or surrendered to a violent group of thugs who has forced people into surrendering... I mean, Hitler tried, and others have tried much, but to no avail.. ISIS has created fear and hatred in the hearts and minds of those people who must live in Muslims countries who are afraid of them and of dying, and hatred in the hearts and minds of people and nations leaders who ARE NOT AFRAID OF THEM.... therefore, such fear and hatred always has an end result for the enemy (ISIS) being destroyed unexpectedly.

Yet, the questions remain unanswered... What does ISIS really want and what are their motives in killing people... are they not enslaving people, and is this not also one of their goals to do away with the enslaving people as they might feel they are salves of the West... free from so-called slavery does not involve enslaving others. ISIS themselves are enslaved by their own violence and atrocities they commit on others... killing people who do not adhere to their demands?

And for the records, Suicide sure will not gain them a place in God's heaven, since God is the giver of life and He condemns self-murder as damnable in hell... and BTW, what was accomplished with their attack on Jakarta?

The Great Escape

Have you had enough of the world and just want to get away to your own little corner, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life where everything is simple, happy, and all you can see for miles and miles are smiles and smiles? Well, there is such a place, although it’s a bit smaller than we might like. It’s called Miniature Wunderland and is located in Hamburg, Germany. It is the single largest display of it’s kind and you can find it on Youtube at

along with a number of other films about it.

It recently became rediscovered by a lot of people when Google worked with Unilabs to create miniature versions of it’s camera and placed it on some of the trains running through the display creating another great “Street View” that can also be found in Google.

Wunderland features areas modeled on countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia and the US, including intricately detailed versions of Las Vegas and Mount Rushmore. There are also Norwegian fjords, a working airport, and a massive, open-air concert feature DJ Bobo. It has 900 trains traveling the 8 miles of track and the display contains more than 200,000 figurines. There are computer controlled vehicles like fire trucks, police cars and over 300,000 LEDs lighting up the night. Some 200 push-buttons and activates different features all around the display.

The display took over 500,000 working hours to create and spans 4,000 square feet. Photography of the street view took over 600 hours to complete. Be sure to check this one out, it is nothing less than impressive and perhaps a bit depressing to those of us that slaved over our HO train sets for all those years!

Beauty inside out

Beauty is inside where the deepest of compassion and humility, kindness and generosity permeates among mankind.

That is what the true face of beauty is. Sadly our world evolved and falling into the abyss of the opposite.

We must recognize it is in our individual strength put together that we can truly achieve what is right. What is just and I am but a lowly hopeful.

Are you?

Note: 1. I am harassed and continuously labeled as a hater, racist and all that is too negative. But like Trump, I believe in my inherent right to fight for what is right, when someone is bent to kill me, I will definitely fight back. I don't care if you will negate my act to support for life, I am not the killer, I am definitely not the inciter, I am simply bent to defend the right to live. You are either with me or against me. I sure hope you would know who the enemy is.
