Entity 3: POCONG

POCONG is a term used in Indonesian folklore to refer to the ghost of a deceased person who is trapped in a burial shroud. It is believed that the soul of the deceased cannot fully move on to the afterlife and remains trapped in the shroud, resulting in a manifestation of a ghostly figure. The pocong is often depicted as wrapped in white cloth with its arms and legs bound. It is known to hop or float, rather than walking, and is believed to bring bad luck or cause harm to those who encounter it.(https://www.definitions.net/definition/POCONG)

It happened last week. In my previous blog, I wrote about the storeroom at my work place. So far I have never really seen one upclose. TOUCH WOOD. I don't intend to encounter one. I am a teacher in a primary school. As I was passing by this Year 1 class(7 year olds pupils), a few of them called me:

Pupils 1 : Teacher, teacher there's a pocong.(ghost)
Me : What? Where?
Pupil 2 : (Pointing to the storeroom. The storeroom was not far from the classroom)
Me : (I was tempted to turn and look at the storeroom but I was too scared to do that. Who knows, that
thing might appear and let me have 3rd eye) Oh ok.
Me : How does it look like? ( I asked one of the girls that saw 'pocong')
Pupil 1 : The face is black.
Me : What did the 'pocong' wear? Did it has hair?
Pupil 1 : Not wearing anything. Just white cloth.
Me : Oh. Ok, don't worry. Next time don't look at the storeroom (I further asked the same questions to
the second girl)
Pupil 2 : (She gave the same answer as the first girl but added ...) I saw it at the storeroom and behind the canteen. ( the class is near the canteen too)
Me : You mean, there are two of them?
Pupil 2 : No, only 1. It hops.
Pupil 3( a boy) : I saw too. It has red eyes.
Me : Duh....( I began to feel scared. I believed them but I couldn't tell them what they saw was real. )
Me : ( I asked the girls) Are you scare?
The 2 girls: No.
Me : Don't be scared. Next time don't look at the storeroom.

PS: Before this incident, I have heard about the sighting of 'pocong' in the storeroom by a teacher. She has third eye. The descriptions are the same. She even saw it in her classroom. That happened last year. Sigh....I hope and pray it does not show itself in front of me. I have 2 more years before my retirement. Let me retire peacefully. Amen.

Joining something long overdue.

I have been working at my current job since August 2022. Well, since August 8, 2022, if you want to be precise.

That means in six months, I will celebrate my 2 year employment. Ever since I was a child, I have been told that I have to join a union, for my own sake. I have been wanting to join one, but I have always been putting it off for another day - mainly because I couldn't afford it and I didn't really need it when I wasn't working. My only permanent jobs has been three years in a supermarket, in an office in Scotland and where I work now. Three permanent jobs since 2007. Other times I worked had been through a temp agency, and even then I didn't know if I needed to join a union. So I didn't join one.

Now, with me working full time, and making enough, I can now afford to join a union. I joined the cheapest one I could find. It will set me back a whopping $83 a month. The first six months are free, however.

Now, I know that there has been a LOT of talk in the US about how unions are bad, but I see them as a good thing. They can help me if I somehow feel like my employer is treating me bad. If I get laid off unexpectedly, I can get unemployment funds for 2 years. More than enough time to allow me to find another job, if required. 2.254 million people in Denmark are members of a union. It's encouraged to be a member from the time you start your higher education. I just never joined one until last week - when I am almost 40..

But at least they'll help me if I, for some reason, get treated unfairly at work or if I get laid off out of nowhere

Why should the EU sanction Tucker Carlson?

Is an EU sanction being discussed today because the EU has always been the aggressor punching the Bear when it can? Is it because the Putin interview doesn't fit the bullshit EU narrative which explains why nazis in Ukraine should be funded with my money?

And why is there an EU? What is NATO good for besides taking my money with no plans to repay me. What does it mean “ in the name of democracy.” How do I benefit sending my money to nato.

Back to EU sanctions:

Supreme court hearing Liberal Colorado argue to keep 45 from becoming 47

"I understand the states controlling state elections and state positions. What we are talking about here is national candidates," Justice Clarence Thomas said regarding respondents' inability to provide examples of states kicking national candidates off the ballot."

for the audio go to :

Anyone here agree with the Liberal Coloradans? I sure don't I enjoy my freedoms and I don't want to see any government try and take them away. Government does not give us our rights. Instead, government is designed to protect them in the USA.

We don't have a defense anymore. Support your County Sheriffs and LEO's.

We are under attack and on our own. Our infrastructure won't handle another 100 million people expected here in the next couple of years (air water food transportation.) The world is screwed when we go down. Support your County Sheriffs and local LEO's (Law Enforcement Officers.) The U.S. Sheriffs want to do their jobs protecting us, even though our current Federal admin won't. Educate yourselves.

WARNING: CONTENTS EXTREMELY HOT!

There are people in this world who lack common sense. Many of them don't read instructions before operating machinery or doing things deemed dangerous/careless by other members of society.
I recall a story about a woman who bought a motor-home, gets on the highway, turns on cruise control. She gets up from the driver's seat to go back and make a cup of coffee and the vehicle runs off the road crashing and injuring the woman.
Obviously, she assumed cruise control was auto-pilot. Lady, it's a motor-home and not a Boeing 747.
I'm sure vehicle manufacturers have added warnings on the control and increased the owner's handbook warning.
Sometimes, their stupidity actually pays off. Take the case of the 79 year old woman who was negligent and spilled hot McDonalds coffee on her lap while in her car causing 3rd degree burns that required skin grafting and 2 years of medical treatment. Stupidly McDonalds didn't want to pay her $20,000 medical expenses and settle. The woman's attorney sued and got her millions.
After... you guessed it, all the McDonalds coffee cups and lids now have explicit warnings.
It happened again to an 85 year old woman who placed the cup in the car's drink holder, drove to an appointment and parked. She claims the lid wasn't put on correctly and ALL of the coffee spilled on her when she started to drink it. I do hope McDonalds had better lawyers for that case.

So the next time you decide to watch that bag of microwave popcorn puff up while cooking, Take my advice and stand back. You're done when the popping is nearly stopped... Otherwise being too close the door and some spurious radiation leaks out it could be your eyeballs that will puff up.
While on the subject of microwave radiation, NEVER try to dry your pet inside a microwave oven. The results would be alarming.

Citizen Trump Has Lost His Appeal

Trump appealed to the District Court of Washington DC to dismiss Jack Smith's criminal suit against him.

The appeal was based upon three arguments previously rejected by the trial judge Tanya Chutkan:

1. The proposed DC criminal trial constitutes double jeopardy because Trump wasn't successfully impeached for his involvement in the January 6th riot/insurrection;

2. The president has immunity for acts performed within the outer perimeter of the scope of his/her office;&

3. The president has aboslute immunity for any criminal act, or from any civil liabilty during his/her period of office.

(I think there may have been something about absolute presidential immunity forevermore, but that's so bonkers I can't get my head round the mere suggestion.)

The appellate court consisting of a panel of three judges (Republican appointee Judge Henderson and Democrat appointees Judges Pan and Childs) affirmed Judge Chutkan's ruling per curium (all three agreed) that there is no legal, or constitutional basis for dismissing the case on those grounds and that Trump's right to defense is the same as any other US citizen.

The District Court also ruled that Trump has until the 12th February to request a stay of the order pending appeal to the Supreme Court. If they don't hear from him by then, the trial is back on.
