Genius inventions...

I'm in the middle of a YouTube marathon viewing stories about some amazing inventions.

Thomas Edison patented (and marketed) the electric light that changed the way we live. No more candles or gas lights in the night. His lights were powered from generators that he built using direct current (DC) which is the same current created by batteries. DC current is good for short distance. The major drawback using DC is voltage drop over wires for any distance. This would require a power station every mile. Another problem was the generators themselves weren't efficient nor reliable.

Nikola Tesla, a young immigrant to America started working for Edison. Tesla told Edison he could fix the generator problems and Edison agreed to pay him a million dollars* if he did. Tesla redesigned the generators and Edison reneged only giving him a pay raise.

Angered he had been cheated by Edison, Tesla went off on his own and worked on a new invention of a generator using alternating current (AC) but he needed funding and struck up a partnership with millionaire George Westinghouse. His generators were in direct competition to Edison.

Edison announced to the public that alternating current was dangerous and began a smear campaign of publicly electrocuting dogs using AC. In response, Tesla gave a demonstration at the Worlds Fair in 1883 by shooting electricity through his body to produce light in the lights in his hands!

Alternating current being the superior method of transmission became the standard of electricity as we know it.

The more I learn about Edison, the less I like the man.

* note: one story claimed the deal was $50,000 and another said $1,000,000.

Lies and Liars. What do we mean?

To begin, we have to narrow and define what we would mean by a subjective object we are calling a "Lie". ( I cannot think of an objective manifestation of a lie ) Also we have to define what a "Liar" is.

The word itself "Lie" has as far as I can recall has negative connotations exclusively.
Everything associated with untruth, non-truth being greyed toward evil or wrong.

We will have "White" lies, they are acknowledged as non-true however gain a special pleading as non-bad or evil on social grounds. We can imbue the "Liar" with no bad or selfish intent on the use of this memetic object. Many kinds of storytelling could be included.

With regard to non-true statements much of the shade of the greys comes from the use and intent of the liar.
We might define "Grey" lies as statements made not at all unlike white instances, but with a selfish or gainsaying intent. A listener may be able to acknowledge to themselves that the statements are in fact grey, but enjoys hearing them just the same.

I think we would have to include a great many jokes in the category of grey lies.
Also flirting to some degree could be included. Fictional works of many kinds, Blarney and Bullshit. Good story tellers may be called grey liars. PR firms would at best I think, have to be included with this sort of lying, being generous.

We would then be left with the "Black" lies. Foul words and phrases with ruthless intent. To indicate non-truth with bitter inclination to steal, injure, control and even destroy those to whom it it is delivered.

Serial killers, thieves, dictators, conmen, grifters of every sort would make best use of these particular memetic devises. Paedophiles, date rapists, partner abusers, propagandists and cult leaders would also swell their ranks.

It would seem important to distinguish some other species of untruth from lies and liars at this point. If someone is convinced of the veracity of a statement made that is actually untrue, I do not think it may be said that they are a liar or are lying.
I would say willful ignorance on a statement one offers as true has to be called black in the morality color chart we are proposing.
Confusion, misstatement, unintentional conflation, illusion and delusion should not label a communicator a liar.

So for the purposes of this exploration a Lie would be a statement by someone that is not true and the Liar has knowledge and intent not to communicate a particular truth and persuade by this without regard to the assumed morality of the misdirection.

Now we have some provisional definitions to work with and a frame on which hang our ethical considerations about this species of non-truth and its users.

Wheat is milled in paddy separator

Conventionally, wheat is milled in paddy separator which simultaneously remove outer bran layers and germ from the wheat kernel or berry and reduce the size of the starchy endosperm. A typical paddy separator will include a sequence of counter rotating opposed rollers which progressively break the wheat into smaller and smaller sizes. The output from each pair of rollers is sorted into multiple streams, typically by means of sifters and purifiers, to separate the bran and germ from the endosperm, and to direct coarser and finer fractions of the endosperm to appropriate rollers.

The prepared grain sample flows through an adjustable feed gate over the feed roll to the first pair of break rolls and from there, without intermediate sifting, to the second pair of break rolls. Subsequently, the material goes directly to the reduction section. Here, the second roll of the second break head operates against the fine corrugated roll of the reduction section. The closed grinding process with extremely small roll diameters and the resulting short grinding zone, together with the self-grinding effect of the grain particles among each other, ensure maximum separation of the endosperm. The short grinding process corresponding to the elasticity of the bran prevents splitting up of the bran. After having passed the last pair of rolls, the material drops into the round sifter.

Practical implications grain structure relate to every step from grain development and production through market ing to processing, utiliza-tion, and consumption. The structure and adherence of the hulls may contribute to protection of grain during germination or malting and protection against insect infestations. Germ retention during thresh-ing and separation during processing depend on the germ structure and location in the kernel. The subaleurone and central endosperm layers differ in cell size , shape, and structure and in composition, especially with regard to protein contents and quality. The main factors in grain hardness are the intrinsic hardness of the main components, the strength of interaction within the cell, and the interaction of individual cells to produce overall grain structure.

The husking performance of different paddy husker was compared for changes in the applied normal load. It was found that grains rotate between the rubber counterfaces on initial motion before being husked. In addition, harder rubbers were found to husk a higher proportion of entrained grains at lower applied normal load. By measuring the coefficient of friction between rice and rubber samples, the shear force required to husk a given percentage of grains could be calculated and was shown to be constant regardless of rubber type. Based on the mechanism seen in the high-speed video, it was evident that there was a limiting shear stress that was the governing factor over the husked ratio.

China-zjlg has industrial most advanced and complete inspection equipment, which can ensure the quality of the products. Welcome to leave a message:

The Metaverse

What do y'all make of it? I think it's a scheme to try and stop more people waking up and questioning what's going on in the world. The Metaverse, in essence, is a virtual world which can be manipulated by those running it to present any set of ideas they wish. The goal seems to be to get more people invested in and plugged in to this metaverse. But why would this be? A control mechanism i think is the obvious answer (outside of obvious profit motives) - offer people a virtual 'safe space' where they don't have to worry about that big nasty (REAL) world, and where they'll be told everything they want to hear. Is it based in reality? No! Of course not! But if the reality is rife with corruption on the part of various people currently running it, wouldn't it make sense for those people to want to stop a mass awakening lest they be actually held accountable?? wave wave Yes, i think that is the point.

Social media...personal data. Kid with treatable cancer.

Sure, many say it's fun and costs nothing. But really? Facebook and most others ask quite a bit of us to join up. Huge personal info market for governments, businesses, scammers, etc. Why I avoid most of SM, and more and more folks are doing so. Family I know have a daughter with blood cancer. Good news--- most (85+%) of these tumors these days, with modern treatment, are fully treatable. Bad news---the treatments can make one sick as a dog. Hair loss and nausea seems worst for many kids. To learn more about their kid's treatment, family went on line, including much SM, for medical info. Began getting adverts for wigs and over the counter treatments for vomiting. Coincidence? Perhaps. Aa.

Doing away with the Bible, without destroying it.

It is said, that was their plan. Luciferians were rumored to have said they wanted to get rid of the Bible without destroying it. It was not, get rid of Christian religion...by say...exposing the misdeeds of priests.

How would you do that...get rid of the Bible without destroying it?

In a conversation last night, it occurred to me.

Before radio and television...and now the internet, books were the biggest influencers. One could argue the Bible was the biggest influencing book. As technology trickles in with first the radio and now the internet, the influence of books are diminishing. So, if that is what the Luciferians were talking about, is some technology the work of them?

As a side note:

The curiosity occurred to me while listening to a show about the invention of television. It is fine that they invented the television and put it on the market for people to buy. But, television required antennas to receive waves from television stations. So in other words, somebody had to actually build television stations first before putting televisions on the market. That would indicate that whoever was involved with that technology would have had to known that tv's would be a huge thing...they would have had to had a bunch of recorded videos to broadcast, and they would have had to had a lot of money. It is almost like the chicken or the egg scenario...what came first? It was a revolutionary move for society...as is the internet today....which is equally compelling with its inception.

....steering us away from The Book.
