When a man admits to watching a women’s TV show or network immediately makes my mind wander... like, into the forest of no return. I mean, nothing emasculates a man more then the admission of watching such things. It’s not judgemen, more like, check the couch cushions for your balls or something. Retrace your tracks. When was the last time you saw them?

some people look to God for inspiration. i look to one of God's gifts for inspiration. i watched a documentary on Dave Munstaine of Megadeth the other day. i was riveted by his story.

i had the pleasure to meet him in the '80's when my sister worked as his band's press manager at Capitol Records. my sister said he was equally impressed with me. a high compliment for sure.

This man struggles with monumental drug and alcohol addiction but has kicked it and is a responsible family man with a wife and 2 successful children. he has overcome throat cancer and is currently in remission.

This man as been to rehab 15 times and thanks be to God that he is clean, sober and a living icon.

i appreciate his struggles and respect his tenacity and strength. his health achievements soar even higher than his musical genius.

i have struggled with addiction for probably 20 years. i've been to rehab once, after ODing on pills and whiskey. spent 48 hours under suicide watch, a very unpleasant experience.

last night, while i went out for smokes, i entertained the idea of picking up a 15 pack of beer that i can finish in a day, but while i was driving to the gas station, i could see Dave's face. i thought about what he had been through and where he is now, and i drove straight home.

i've been clean a week. i know it's not much but i have pictures of Dave to remind me of how i can be. if i have the will. Dave helps me. no, he's not God but i think God has finally reached me, through Dave.

this blog isn't about attention seeking. it's a sliver of a reality some of us live and i'm talking about it.

Women require constant maintenance and servicing, some handy information to get the best performance out of a woman is:

Educated and informed: This is a vital part of woman maintenance, Showing cultural acceptance and being able to converse about current news and situations to family and relationship issues. Keep her manual updated!

Sense of humour : This is important, This does not just mean being witty, It also means not having for example a male hissy fit on the blogs or forums, most people in those locations don’t care about your self-serving woe is me crap, be upbeat, banter and make people laugh. laughing will make her inner engine purr.

Annual Inspection (MOT) Her annual inspection is purely to test that she has been well maintained and serviced, She should be checked for any leaks or other issues daily, these can range from tears to excess verbiage, often, simply washing the dishes will stop leaks.

Wear and tear is something to look out for, twisting her nipples like you are tuning a radio or digging into her inner workings without suitable permissions and essential lubricants will cause your inspection to fail.

If she needs fixing, then fix her, don’t wait until things fall apart, by then it will be too late.

About 9 weeks ago local gas prices peaked. Have you noticed? Prices appear to be going down sharply. Last month, some stations near the highway were a little over $5 per gallon while the cheaper stations were peaking around $4.79 to $4.85

I had business in the Hollywood area Wednesday and pleased to see a few stations as low as $4.17 per gallon for cash. I passed the opportunity and got gas in Fort Lauderdale for $4.27 I live in Palm Beach County and cheap gas was around $4.29 today.

A friend who has a membership with BJ's Club got gas on Friday and paid $3.89. That's a dollar less per gallon than he was paying in June!

Typically in the summer months, gas prices rise just when people go on vacation.
Since no one I know has the ability to control the price of oil as it gets to the refineries, all we can do for now is shop around.
There are a few phone apps that monitor gas prices so you can see who has the best price in your area.

Hopefully this is going to be a downward trend making consumers happy!

I pulled up a 6 month chart from the website gasbuddy to confirm my suspicion and the national average was $5.02 on June 12 and $4.40 on July 22. Yes, going down.

The inspiration for this blog was another blog that stated fuel prices were skyrocketing, as in presently happening. That wasn't factual. Prices peaked weeks ago. It made a claim from outdated information as prices were declining. Since I posted this blog, the other blog title was changed and now compares it with a previous administration and that Biden supporters being happy with the high price of fuel.
Was it something I said?
(title edited because some people mistakenly thought I said gas prices were a dollar a gallon. I said they dropped a dollar a gallon) But that's okay, you can still complain about it.

Met a nice guy online, you exchanged nice messages, he's in another country, you met up few days later...coffee date turned into a very fun dinner date. There was instant attraction, you both connected...had a little bit of holding hands and some goodnight kisses and difficulty parting ways. He went to another country the next day, sent you lots of messages...said you're the one he's looking for and wants to have a happy ever after with you. He started talking about having kids and family and a happy life together. Promises to keep you safe and happy, wants to have a blissful life with you and children..., will do everything you ask him to and coming back in few days to see you again and talk about lots of possibilities and happy future. Ain't it he crazy? The whole thing sounds like a big joke...but the guy seems serious...mid- 40s, have a great job, very attractive, he's got it all ...a perfect catch.

Happens everyday to everyone...

Last week I had to get my car serviced, so I asked the service man how much for a compartment air filter? He says $28 for the filter and $79 to install it. I asked why so much to install? He said it's very tricky hmmm!!

Little did I tell him I bought one last week for $12 and installed it myself in roughly 2 minutes. It was so easy to install if I left the in the car and put some treats by the filter she would have deinstalled it less than a minute..

When I was young my dad needed to get the car repaired, so my mom said I'll take it in. He started to laugh, he said if you take it in they will sell you a brand new car. Always sat on my mind

Then years later I was watching this sting operation on an auto repair shop. They set them up, they sent a woman in there saying here car just died on her. The sting operation took out the 1 dollar fuse that resided next to the alternator. When the service man diagnosied the problem he tells her she needs a new alternator for $375......

Auto mechanics must be the best business in the world now. With so many single moms out there when a woman walks into a repair shop here is the service man

there are people in every walk of life trying to take advantage of you, don't let them.....I googled how to install that filter it was a one minute video...salespeople will sell you stocks, bonds annuities cars houses boats and planes...do your homework.....they want to sell the item that brings them the most commission......that's their job
