A strong cup of black coffee, a cigarette and the film Deliverance. Add a faux fur blanket and my fancy balls, bliss.
the uk has announced that it is to ban ,the sale of petrol and diesel cars ,,
now as a regular driver i can see many misgivings with this,
electric cars are ok to pop to the local shops or drop the kids at school ,
but could you imagine the dread of a long trip in one ????
imagine your batteries are low ,,and hey presto there is a powercut ,,,
or you pull at a charging station and there is a queue waiting ,,
and these cars dont recharge that quickly ,yes a quick 30 minute charge will get you on the move but not very far,
so is it a good or bad thing ????
Times holds a heavy load
In absence of humor can be a jam in the spoke
The lighter the laughter eases ruts in the road
Lightening the daily harvest of our woes
With life’s uncertainty one must be proactive. So, tomorrow I have a job interview with another furniture store. It is not known but the signs indicate a potential store closing, indicating a potential income loss for me.
I’ve already mourned the loss a few weeks ago. I had a feeling.
Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. I plan on giving my associate a dvd of Thelma and Louise. God damn if we weren’t good together! Appreciate every day you’re not suicidal.
online today!
it's disscusting , its a hardy one...........blog on.......snotty..........beam me up
What you see in this video is an electric car with a shorted cell at a charging station setting off all the rest.
Note the time it took to destroy 3 cars. The first car was destroyed in about 38 seconds.
The fire cannot be extinguished with water.
The Missing Head
My manager's cat pen lost its head. It happened somewhere between the back office and the front desk. My ears pricked up and I immediately volunteered to head the search party. We passed through the warehouse and I glassed the concrete floor for a tiny, white, kitty head. My heart raced when I sighted what most definitely was, indeed, the missing head! No! Heads! Hundreds of them! Upon closer inspection, they were pieces of styrofoam...
We continued examining every inch of commercial grade carpet, adorned with the vast variety of area rugs. I bent down and scanned the surface beneath sofa's, tables and beds. Nothing!
We lounged in one of the reclining sectionals and shook our heads. Then, the other manager noticed we were missing. This manager rallied a second search party to search for us. Not long after, I felt a nudge on my shoulder, startling me awake. Dazed, I reported back to the customer service desk.
On my way back, I felt a twinge in my stomach. My inner core twisted to the right and my feet followed. Like a water witch, I raised my arms out and moved in a most direct, direction. Then my arms began to twitch and my eyes lowered to a spot next to the foot of a very attractive accent chair. It was there! I had found the missing head!
I crouched down and gently picked up the tiny, white, kitty head. Cupping it in my palm, I presented it to my other, distraught manager. With glee, she reattached the tiny, white kitty head to the pen. The pen that used the cat's tail as a clicker. This manager had several kitty pens, in all colors, so I suggested she pull all the heads off and mix and match.
some goodbyes are swift and others are held in cups
to be sipped slowly
some fires take some time to build while others burn
from cast off cares, raging
forget me nots, gathered with hands once held
i clasp my hands to feel whole
Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....Coming soon....
Trolling is not exclusive to CS. Anyone who’s been on FB knows trolls are alive and well. In addition, trolls pop their heads out while shopping and in daily activity.
I am grateful that the online world allows bitter, hateful people to express their illness on a format that is easily dismissed with a button.
It is far more difficult to ignore, escape or retaliate against abuse in person. I come from retail and, baby, people can be insensitive, and hateful, with free rein. Employees are evaluated on performance and are paid, although poorly, to put up with crap with a big shit eating smile.
