SCAMMERS - THEY NEVER LEARN...

I am a member in this site for a looooong time. Give or take, about 10 years. While being a member, i've encountered all the types of scammers here.
1: "Hi. I read your profile and i am very interested about you. This is my email. I have something important to tell you"...
They inherited a great fortune from their dad-who was the king of some tribe in Africa and they need someone to share this.
2: they are dealing with online investments and they need your money as sure investment. So you will be able to earn a lot of profit's.
3: I lost my parents and i live with my uncle/ granny..
4: "i am in love with you, and i need money to pay for my ticket.
5: " i am on a charity mission in Africa..
6: "I serve into the U.S. Army somewhere in middle east.
These are the main types of them. If you encounter one of those, then you can be sure that he/she is scammer. Stop all types of communication with them and don't give any personal details about you.

9 things people want most in life

There are nine things people want most in life — forget everything else:
1. To be loved
Love can be abstract and it can be concrete. It can be the act of snuggling. Saying the words “I love you.” Or not saying the words but knowing they’re felt. It’s about showing up and comforting people. Or allowing them to help us.
But even when we have loving relationships, we can get so familiar with it that we forget to notice. Allow for some enchantment and fondness. What’s small can still matter.
2. To be understood
When people’s opinions of us clash with how we want to be seen, we feel alienated and isolated. But to be understood by others, we must first understand ourselves.
Think of your signature, the mark that makes you who you are, both internally and what you show the world. Wherever you go, whatever you do, there’s a thread of continuity.
Never stop thinking about what it means to be you. It’s a lifelong pursuit.
3. To have power
There are times when the desire for power is beautiful and life enhancing. But when our longing for power is an attempt to compensate for a lifelong deficit, we can zigzag between swelling visions of glory and crashing despair.
Embrace flexibility and moderation. Power isn’t about control over others; it is about authenticity and authority. Stepping into your power can be your way of claiming adulthood and taking responsibility for your choices.
4. To have (and give) attention
“I haven’t looked into my children’s eyes for a very, very long time,” one person confided to me at a moment of deep discovery. “I’ve been so angry at life, I forgot to notice this beautiful creature I created.”
More and more, noticing her children helped her feel less wounded. Attending to them in a deep, attuned way healed something for her. By really seeing, she felt less deprived.
To feel more fulfilled, make a point of concentrating on an activity or topic that matters to someone you love.
5. To have freedom
For a teenager, freedom might mean not having a curfew. For an adult, it might mean setting your own work hours.
Ask yourself what kind of freedom you want. The freedom we pursued when we were 20 isn’t necessarily the same freedom that’s available at 60. Adjust the terms and conditions of your commitments.
6. To create
If you insist, you can have creative moments every day just by observing and being curious.
Express yourself imperfectly. Change your point of view about an issue. Take in something new and let out something personal. Experience something fresh.
7. To belong
At times, you might feel alienated and at odds. But if you can feel comfortable in being all that you are, you can experience not belonging with more ease, even with delight at times.
It’s about being secure in all that you are, even the awkward, clumsy, oddball moments — especially those moments! If you’re just trying to fit in, you will miss out on truly belonging.
8. To win
?I’m delighted with myself. I did brilliantly. Well done, me. I see that I’m skilled at doing this, and I have done an excellent job,” a 55-year-old once said to me. “This feels like a win.”
Consider what “winning” means to you. The definition changes and the rules vary. Honor your successes, however small.
9. To connect
If you’re carrying trauma, shame or a source of pain, it takes courage to open up and be vulnerable with someone. But when you feel safe and comfortable, revealing something private can bring you to a place of acceptance.

When Pain Speaks

Unpleasant events have been present in human life since the beginning of human existence on Earth, and since then, it didn't take long for people to start asking themselves the eternal question "why me." I believe I have written about this topic in the past, but related to a different subject... However, now, this is the main subject and the basis of this post. Today, I would like to explain in an elaborate way how I see the situation with this eternal question, to which probably not many know the answer: "why them?!"

Sooner or later, we all ask this question. My answer is divided into 3 parts, as follows... First, I will present a rather serious case (let's say imaginary, but one that can happen anywhere on this planet, at any moment) and I will also explain why I chose such a serious case (if you don't realize it by yourselves).

Let's imagine that we are somewhere in the beginnings of human life on Earth. Not in the time of Adam and Eve, somewhere later... when there were enough women and men on Earth... and in those times, a woman gives birth to a healthy child, but after a few years, her child dies, and the woman suffers immensely. The pain in her soul is unbearable and hard to imagine for someone who has never been through it, and at some point, the woman says a phrase we still hear today: "no parent should see their child dying before them." For those around her, these words will never have the same meaning as they have for that woman.

Now, let's continue to imagine that after this terrible incident, God or, for the non-believers, the universe or whatever you may believe, sees the woman's suffering and decides not to put anyone else in a similar situation. Thus, no one else on the entire planet will lose a child before themselves.

And here come the other 2 parts of my explanation, alongside the first one... 2. It won't be fair to the woman if she is the first and only one to go through such a thing... she will always wonder "why them," and the question will continue with "why only me? And no one else?" So, it won't be fair to her, but neither to others... and then, with the passage of time, people, seeing that such an event has never happened again (and here you will understand why I chose a serious event), not only will they start to forget about it, but over time, they will even come to believe that the event probably never happened. After years and years, that particular incident will become a story or a legend that young people will sometimes tell... and probably after more years, people will forget about that event altogether...

No matter how serious and painful that event was for that woman, if it won't be repeated and won't happen to anyone else, people will forget about its existence. Thus, unpleasant events are meant to repeat themselves again and again and appear in our lives, each of us... for 3 reasons: 1. So they won't be forgotten, 2. Because it's fair to those who have already been through them, and 3. Because life is not meant to be easy and only pleasant. These are the 3 answers to the question "why them." There is not necessarily a specific reason why you were chosen, sometimes it's not about you... if it wasn't you, it would have been someone else, and anyone in that position would have asked the same question "why them"... Sometimes we are chosen because of our mistakes, sometimes we are tested by God for those who believe in Him... and other times... it happens to "you" because someone had to go through it... I know it's not easy, but "you are chosen to be an example" for those around you. Once you heal, share your experience and the knowledge you have gained. Someone will benefit from knowing what you've been through and how you managed to move on.

Thank you for your attention.

Record heat

It’s not just a record-hot day or two, unprecedented heat waves or abnormally warm ocean waters: All indications are that this will be the hottest single month on Earth on record, and possibly in more than 100,000 years.
Every day this month has set records for average global annual temperatures, and already, 17 days in July have been hotter than any others in more than 40 years of global observations, climate scientists said.
Not even three weeks into the month, scientists’ declarations of an already assured monthly global record serve to punctuate what has been an onslaught of recent weather extremes. Record heat has been observed from Arizona to Rome to China. An unprecedented wildfire season continues in Canada. Flooding — juiced by the fact that warmer air holds more moisture — has devastated Vermont, northern India and South Korea.
“We’re just really starting to see climate change kick in,” said Nathan Lenssen, a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Colorado focused on historical temperature data. “Seeing so many types of weather and climate extremes in a six-month period is pretty remarkable.”
While it is too soon for official records, all preliminary data points to this month being a watershed for the globe.
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration data captured on a daily basis and presented in widely shared charts from the University of Maine’s Climate Reanalyzer have so far “been largely validated” by other analyses, including one from the Europe’s Copernicus Climate Change Service released earlier this month, said Zeke Hausfather, a climate scientist at Berkeley Earth and the tech company Stripe.
“Given the extreme global temperatures over the first half of July, it is virtually certain that July will set a record both as the warmest July and as the warmest month in absolute terms since global temperature records began in the mid-1800s,” Hausfather wrote in an email to The Washington Post.
July, the peak of the Northern Hemisphere summer, is the planet’s hottest month in any given year because the Northern Hemisphere contains more land than the Southern Hemisphere — and because land heats up faster than oceans do. That means Northern Hemisphere temperatures have an outsize influence on planetary averages.
At this point in the month, it would take “truly dramatic cooling” in the waning days of the month to offset the warmth observed over the past few weeks, said Michael Mann, the University of Pennsylvania climate scientist known for the “hockey stick” temperature plot that shows modern-warming is unprecedented in at least 2,000 years.
Such cooling is not expected to occur given the presence of an El Niño climate pattern that developed last month. El Niño is known to boost the planet’s temperature, as warmth stored within the Pacific Ocean pools at its surface along the equator, driving changes in weather patterns around the world and releasing more heat and humidity into the atmosphere. Elderly Alone

I've said many times that I write about this topic, but I've always avoided doing it to avoid stirring up discussions. However, I think it's time to address it, as someone might need to hear it, and maybe someone will learn a life lesson from the mistakes of others. When I was hospitalized, a charming old man was brought to the bed next to mine (at least that's how he seemed during our time together, along with his wife, who visited him). Anyway, what I want to say is that he once shared a story about moving to Constan?a during the Ceau?escu era and deciding to build a big house with around 9 rooms or something like that. He said he wanted to have children. So, he built that large house with the intention that their children would have a place to live without having to search for or build their own home, even if they were to have families and children of their own. However, his children grew up, left home, and settled abroad where they started their own families. They didn't want to hear about Romania anymore, and that large house was now mostly empty because there was no one to live there. And I wonder... why did this happen? Could it be that the old man did what other parents do, telling his children to do as he pleased, and when they said no, he tried other methods? And when they refused and he ran out of arguments... he resorted to that famous line, "As long as you're under my roof, you'll do as I say," the cliché line parents use when they run out of arguments but are too stubborn and proud to leave things up to your choice... because a parent always has the final say... and then they say, "They're older, they know better than you." And if that's the case... then could that be the reason why the house is empty? And if so, if it's their fault... why do they complain that their children left and don't want to come back? I don't know... maybe I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure many young people think the same way... In this life, I've learned two things: every person should have the right to an opinion and choose what's best for them... not to choose their mother, father, brother, sister, or whoever else... because each of us has different thoughts, experiences, senses, needs, and so on. And secondly, if you force someone to do what you want, they may swallow it once, twice, three times, until they give in, and then consequences arise. And when those consequences appear... it's better to stay quiet and swallow it, and stop complaining or blaming others... because some things you bring upon yourself in life. Own up to them... we are responsible for our own actions (or should be) and for what comes after...
