I never got to know him well but loved reading his posts....
its a real testament to the man he was that he kept his suffering to himself while all the time making people smile and feel good about themselves....

In response to: Jeepers is in a better place now with no pain... He passed over today, Wednesday, July 11th.
He justs wants everyone to know that he put up a hellava fight with the cancer he was diagnosed with last october. His sense of humor stayed with him to the end.
He wanted to '"fly out" like a blue butterfly.

I'm in total denial and can barely see this page so excuse me if I blunder.
Buddy was one of the very first people to contact me when I first joined CS a few years ago and we've become good friends. He was always spreading cheer and happiness on CS and in the frequent flowers and notes he sent to me and many others. He truly cared about people. Needless to say, he was suffering and hid it well...but not from me. Back in January, we shared many songs done by Bob Marley and one day, a vendor at my workplace was selling t-shirts, two of which had large pictures of Bob Marley on them. I told Buddy about them and asked if would wear t-shirts like that. He said he would and it "would be cool". I sent them and he took pictures of himself wearing them for me. He looked proud as punch wearing them. I will cherish those photos forever.
Buddy was a true gift and a kindred spirit who will forever hold a special place in my heart as he will with others he's befriended here.
Just minutes before I found out about his passing, I posted two songs on another thread here just after Kaybee posted some lyrics to the song. I think Buddy sent us a message...I miss you Buddy...and remember...keep smiling peeps...

Just wanted to pop in and pay my respects. I'm not on CS much anymore but I remember Jeepers from 2009 when i first came here. funny guy, humble, he will be missed. one of the truly good people. he touched alot of lives and we will always have the memories. see you soon big guy.
