the myths grin Chris, I meant it in a good way.

The culture and the food are interesting so are the islands (Rhodos, Kreta, Kos, Santorin and many more). Someone mentioned Nana Mouskouri, one of the best singer I used to admire. Another one mentioned Aristotle Onassis, who would forget of Maria Callas?

Speaking of food (dine and wine), I used to know a bar that served Ouzo for free for all guests during the half-time of weekend's football games, unfortunately they did not serve Greek food. Gyros is so delicious, emergency food I buy from supermarket whenever I was not in the mood to cook.

Speaking of wine, have you heard this song, Chris?

And, how big is actually a Greek wedding? dunno Just curious.

I've heard it in Greek, long time ago, maybe sang by Nana Mouchouri.
The one's with negative comments,either don't know,out of ignorance,
or some of the known ones, don't want to admit, that the bases of
their countries civilisation, is based on the Greek one.-

Hertsboy: I like Greece for the history and mythology of the country, it is great for holidays, traveling around the sites and learning about the birth of civilisation.

And remind your fellow country men,in every opportunity, that they
learned how to read and write from the 5th century onwards during
the Roman influence.
While Greeks developed alphabets and writings 2000 years earlier, before the Brits learned, what was an alphabet .
