Unfortunately Chris, this place is flooded of so many.

But it is enlightening to let them know Chris.

And the whole world learned so much from them, your ancestors. Civilization and progress.hug

Haloumi is a Cypriot cheese,

Garuda an Indonesian Airline.
The only proximity, what Greece is known for,is haloumi cheese.

Civilisation in the History of man kind, they come and they go.-

Chris, without those powerful words, we'd still be in the dark ages.

It is most fitting to acknowledge what the Greek people has done to the progress of the world. Sense of justice and humility. bouquet

rizlared: Don't worry your ex prince is looking after them very well.

And for your general information, Ancient Britons during the iron age, around the same time as the construction of the parthenon, lived in secure round houses, made from stone walls and with a thatched roof. They also had a vast trading area stretching deep across Europe.

And figuring out for few centuries, how to replace ""a thatched roof""
with a stone one.
Parthenon age for the Greeks,
Stone age for the Brits.

Since you boast so much about creating reading-writing, it was fortunate that the British continued to learn, expand and gain knowledge from around the world, all the while the Greeks laid back in their growing ego and became the most backward nation in Europe, proved by your lack of understanding the written word.

Am not boasting,is a well proven fact.
While Greeks communicated in writing,
in the Brits islands, writing was unknown,
during Parthenon's building.-
In the end after centuries, they did found out,
how to have a build stone roof, instead of a thatched one.
And thatched roof, ever since, very popular, even to our modern days.
