Hi guys ..... I just noticed a member being criticized for being on the blogs cus she is married .... If a member states he/she is in a relationship and is not lying they are single when they are not .... Why should they judged for being here .... If it was against CS rules & regulations then they wouldn't have had the "in a relationship" or "not single not looking" to choose from
Telling truth is the dignity of a CS member.CS dont mind it as long as i know i am a member here since 2008.Telling lie about profile and hurting others is not good such peoples are worst than scammers

Hell no, this site is only for lonely miserable folks ...
On a serious note, I saw the blog ,read all the posts and even made a comment ( no one understood what I was talking about...as usual)...
Why wouldn`t it be okay for a married person or someone who is in a relationship,to be a member ,if he/she clearly points it out in their profile ,there is such a option here besides I ran in to quite a few profiles where married couples were looking for a third person for a intimate encounter ...or a encounter of the third kind...

I do not mind married people being on the forums, but I would be offended if a married man tried to chat me up.
Nessa, I am not sure if quoting the blog was necessary, the question by itself is interesting enough for a thread. I would not like to see a blogger war spill into the forum and vice versa.

As long as people clearly state that they are only here for the fora & blogs, I have no problems with that. Half of the Irish posters are only on CS for the fora and it would be a shame if most of them weren't around.
As for that blog, I commented on that topic there - not for the first time - but I think it's more a problem between 2 bloggers or 1 blogger being stubborn as we had this topic before.
At the end of the day, as long as the CS mods don't have any problems with people being in relationships to use this site, there is nothing anyone can do about it, just accept it.

I didn't read the blog....no need to. There's enough judging going on right here in the forums. A blog is a media tool to converse with other people whether they are married or single. If I talk to someone in the grocery line at the supermarket I don't ask them first if they are married. Blogs and the grocery line are just talking to someone.

I think you said it all there Monte. Very good analogy. Defines it perfectly.

Yes you correct .. A lot of people do leave choose to be dishonest about their relationship status and that's where the problems begins ...
I have not read the blog, however for married members of CS I would suggest the blogs and forums are an excellent tool to voice questions or make statements to gather the opinions of others for the betterment of their relationship.

Hi Boban I read your post and loved the example you used .. If a person clearly states their marital status on their profile there should be no problem on the dating side of CS . But I still don't understand what it has to do them "posting" on blogs and threads ..
"Encounter of the third" ... I actually think you are "one of a kind"

Hi Susanne I agree and I am sure most people would get upset if a married person tried to chat them up .. It would really be annoying ....
It was just pretty awful the way the lady was criticized, gees even her husband and religion was brought up ... But anyways I just heard that she decided to leave CS .. Which is really sad ...

Hi KN ... Yes I did read you comment you made some good points ... Yeah if CS allows it why shouldn't the rest of the people

Aaah Monte you are so right ... Well said!..... Blogs and Forums definitely a tool for communication different views ...

Interesting question if it was just to have an adult discussion about it . Bringing up the blog was totally uncalled for . I also can not dispell the notion that this is just another chapter in an ongoing cat fight .
If it´s ok between the people in the relationship I don´t see that it is anyone else´s concern. We don´t stop communicating with people just cos we´ve found our partner. Don´t know how people find the time tho, if they have partner, family, work and outside interests as well. But I do know that CS becomes addictive.

Hi Hoolet, married life is probably not hectic for everyone
But yeah if people want to be here and if CS has no problem with it, why should we

She did? That is a shame, but it is her decision alone. Maybe she will be back later.

I think when CS was born, quite awhile ago, the owners intended the site to be for single people as that is what dating sites were intended for.
There are married people who are separated. Maybe the "unmarried adults" part was a mistake on the part of CS.
Are separated people not allowed to communicate with those of us who are single, lonely hiding in the dark.
With so many problems in the world....deaths in Britain, ongoing slaughter in Syria....hurricaines/tornadoes/floods, this shouldn't be getting all this attention.
