I heard it wasn't just supply chain problems. They talk on the news here once in a while about the increase in alcohol use since the covid restrictions and more people sitting home and not working. I don't know this for fact nor have I seen it. Just hear it on the tele being discussed and it kind of makes sense to me 
A lot of unhappy people here.
Our weather never gets to cold. But our coldest months are usually February and maybe the beginning of March. It will come in spells. A few days cold then a few days hot. Today was gorgeous. Sadly I spent it mowing the yard 
. I have aquired a group of female friends this last year that are like me. Wanting to go places and not be alone all the time. Maybe try that if you haven't. I know if you are like me and use to being alone it is difficult but to be honest so far everytime I have done it I have a good time.

We are going to suffer more than a financial crisis. The last two years has set us up to where we no longer have the values we had at one time. I say the last two years but in truth it has been being put in place for a long time. The divide the hate. The quarentine, keeping us isolated from one another. A lot of components that make us human are being lost. I see it every day. We are losing the humanity aspect of being human rapidly. We are turning into just beings. Can we really blame the governments when so many of us have partcipated in the raping of society. I just continue everyday trying to remain human in a world of so much chaos. 
I do also have some various spices growing around the patio area I have never made homemade olive oil before but am willing to try if Sel will bring enough olives for that.

Soon it will run out. Same with our food sources. It will become more expensive as it becomes less available. I went out and bought bacon at the store yesterday. I paid almost ten dollars for a pound. Farmers and ranchers before covid were being choked to death by regulations and then with the onset of covid in 2020 and the restrictions that followed, many lost crops (no one to harvest them) In my area they were opening up and let people harvest for themselves for reduced prices just to get the stuff out where they could replant. Also many took to homeless and low income or hurting people (so many hurting) what they could not sale even at reduced prices. I myself am not going to worry about it. I as many on this site was raised in a time where I did not have all the choices we have had in the days before covid. I am quite honestly worried in the raising of prices of grocerys electric and etc. I will be ok. Just not as spoiled as I have become 
I am a homeowner and now I am also wondering how I am going to get past the fact that in south Florida our homes have tripled in value because so many are moving here and there is no where to put them. What this means to me is when my homeowners insurace becomes due I will have to make a decision can I afford the new price, is it worth it to me, or am going to go uninsured in an area known for some beast of hurricanes. I do keep hurricane supplies. So I have can goods. Not really big into eating can foods. My Dad always thought when I was growing up China was going to invade the United States so we learned how to live off the land if need be and how to live on little. We were taught how to leave our comfortable enviroment if need be and go into the thick swamps where many are not use to the harsh reality of that area. Do I worry. Yes to some point. Yet I have made up my mind that I will not be ruled my last days here on earth by worry. I have faith and move forward. Remaining grateful for what I do have is my path. Sorry so long Ro. Who knows maybe someone needs to hear this if they can read this long of a post

I grew up and realized I like clean. I like me time and out door time and I like friends. Remember when we use to have parties here on CS......
I have actually been more in the mood for Christmas this year than I have in a while. But now since it is here I am now ready for New Years and we are not even done with Christmas. We will have fun, eat, some gifts and then.........New Years!!!!!!! 
I kinda wish we would be in the seventies, but no cooler than that I do love looking at pictures of snow

It was good for the family, it gave them the opportunity to say their good byes. I learned a lot that day. I worry now if I am needed to apply cpr again I might be more hesitant. Not meaning to. I reacted that day. Will I take time to think next time? That could possibly cost someone their life. I will never forget looking in the hospital room and seeing what I had done That will be a ghost with me forever 
I can do this. 
I need everything in here I am going to go and shower and go to my daughters and eat turkey I will repack later
