So true and it is always a challenge if one is the work boss of the other - that is why some of the laws came into effect I suspect. Unwanted advances are not conductive to good work environments and people in power abusing their power can create a hostile work place.
Work is where we spend a majority of our time - it makes sense that we might find our mate there. Since I work for a local government we have rules and if two marry one has to move to another department.
Likely from your history you will find another long term relationship shortly - you obviously, from what you've written have the capacity to select the lady to spend the rest of your life - so it is a good and serious question as to whether you need to "update" your dating attitudes - good old fashioned manners never goes out of style - best of luck.
as to what are women's attitudes about having their man take care of their woman.....
Personally, I love the idea of having an artistic house husband - where I earn the dough in the work world and he makes a home life for us..... course.... that never happened.... I can still dream
It seems so - however if you get a chance to go to a CS 'get-together' in your area - it works - it is a great way to meet socially - to connect. I certainly feel that way after going to the Get together in Glasgow a few years ago -
I dated a man that meant to call me apple dumpling or turtle dove and ending up whispering "turtle dumpling" instead..... I hope that name didn't shape my destiny
for violating the poultry act - for commenting on this thread for a "lark" - - getit! lark - poultry! Quick over here men - arrest him! wait.... not me..... him,
Confession time I admit I really want to hear my man say - "it's going to be all right" and that no - no one saw you coming from the ladies room with your dress tucked into your pantyhose and really that dress does accent your short legs
How this stuff works - I don't know? I remember the problem they we had with the Gulf coast after the oil company, what was their name (?) - project "deep water horizon" poured all that oil - for days.... still we are suffering for that.
didn't we just get a newly appointed inspector - we shall see... I wish we would "play nice" in the world sandbox.
It's tough using a website to find happiness and a relationship. It is just a tool to be used to start the initial chat. So what we need is a tool to weed out the tools.
RE: A Troubled Friendship
your title says it all - it is truly a troubled friendship.Sometimes when our friends ask our opinion they are not really asking for our advice.
Does longevity of knowing someone really make them our friend?
