It's very easy to spot scammers, if only we can allow our brains and minds to work and not just sight. I really get sick reading threads and posts of men and women who lost their hard earned cash simply because they weren't careful at all.
Simply ask the following questions to whoever approaches you, do it gradually or day by day.
Where are you from? "If she/he really interests you, run a background check on his/her profile. Google search the picture again and again. Google her email address or profile user name. If it is a man who claims UK or USA, ask him to send you email attaching his pictures then do a run up check on his IP address. Just Google search "trace email IP" copy and paste his email header to any available email tracing website. The result is amazing.
What do you do there? If she answers "house help, volunteer, no job, caretaker, waiting for dead mother or father to rise from ghastly car accident and sign a bond deposited in a Bank in Heaven. Works in a gold mining company, Construction Company, Modeling, etc. Please run and never look back.
Do you have web cam? No, my computer is very old. Web-cam software cannot download, I am in a cybercafe, it's not working but I am trying to connect it. I am in office and my boss does not allow me, I don't have computer at home, the connection is very slow but I can't imagine how people believe this lies. Please run away.
Do you have phone number? No, rather give me your number I will call you.
Most of them are men using a voice changer mobile phones, this mobile phone has an amazing feature that can transmit the voice of a man into a sexy lady's voice.
I am a mobile phone supplier in China so I know the newest functions in phones.
I met one few days ago and immediately she complained about her house rent and needed urgent $750 which she will refund after 2 days. Well, maybe she assumed I was one good puppy to ride with. Yeah maybe I am, so I decided to play on with her. I promised her I'll send the money tomorrow morning and that I am doing this just because of God.
"Ha-ha, dump Me, I could hear her saying"
She said, "God will bless you, you are the nicest man in the world and I was shouting hallelujah Pastor Scammer! Bless me on but how I wish God will send down fire and consume you and your dead PC. The evil things we do in the name of the Almighty Innocent God flummoxes me, well I pray Him mercy should endure that they all will repent. We ended chat with bunch of love and kiss emoticons which she believed would have melted my heart to send the money as promised.
The following morning, Pastor Scammer was already waiting for me to sign into Yahoo messenger and immediately she sent me a kiss emoticon. I laughed, here we go Pastor, I'm gonna give you a little errand at least I'll make you, spend few cash for taxi and time.
Baby, I sent you the money, here is the MTCN 2235678976, I said. Please go to Western Union agent and collect this money because computer system of where I sent it was slow so you may not verify it online.
If at all she knew the MTCN could be verified online even before going to the bank.Be sure to pay back this money, otherwise...I affirmed just to give her full confidence that I really sent the money.
Immediately Pastor Scammer signed off her messenger and I assumed her went. 30 minutes later she signed back,
"Baby the MTCN you gave me is wrong, can you cross-check it again? She added" Now we in for business, Oh! Sorry, it was my fault. The last three digits are wrong. I can imagine her doubtful mind cooling down.
She said, I thought of that too, please what's the correct MTCN...?Then I asked her, please how do you go to pick up the cash; by taxi or bus and she said by taxi, well I was happy.
I changed the last three digits of the
MTCN to 2235678679 and she signed off again...
To be continued......

I'm broke so i'll never be scam
I know that women are sometimes genuinely not interested in a man, but sometimes it makes me wonder why I didn't get responses from some of the women on this site, especially if my message is deleted UNREAD. When I reply to profiles, sometimes I wonder:
- Will she think I'm fake?
- Will she think I'm someone in some African country pretending to be in London, England?
- Is she fed-up of hearing of scams or being on the receiving end of scams that she doesn't want anything to do with black men?
- Is this a scammer pretending to be a genuine woman? (It's a blessing in disguise if these don't reply)
Despite those concerns/obstacles, I still write with a positive attitude, believing that somewhere out there is that wonderful woman also looking for me and one day soon we will meet. Perhaps not on this site, but we will definitely meet.
Yes it's also occured to me that some of you reading this post are probably wondering, "is he for real or a scammer?"
Or am I now getting paranoid? :-)
Whatever happened to the days of boy meets girl, boy & girl love each other, boy & girl get married and face the challenges of life together as one?
Thank for sharing. Now i know how to make a fool by the scammers...

keep posting stuff like this my friend, let the scammer get they return...ha ha
I emailed him about my first phone bill and he now thinks that we are going to get married and stuff and I just want the guy to pay the bills that he caused and get me the promised computer.
Because on this site, no matter what is said or done, some dimwit will be easily fooled by someone and need to share their pathetic story of woe with anyone who will listen.
It's no wonder scammers come to this site. It's a chicken coop of birdbrains. And I have no doubt that the stories will continue to flow, no matter what is stated or advised.
A popular one for "male" scammers says they are widows with a son, and a master's degree in engineering. We just have to be aware, like you said.
If anyone has other tips, I hope they post them.
