I'm so excited I'm officially on holidays! I've got 2wks off. There is so many stuff going on during the summer & I get to enjoy some of the festivals & such.
I'm so happy & I'm loving it!

I was listening to the radio recently & the topic of conversation was what women keep in their bras. Well of cousrse the obvious. While listening to the radio I couldn't stop laughing. Why? I was was surprised what some women store in their bras.
Well for me I got no extra storage I got no room for excess baggage. I'm happy that I find I good fit & my ta ta's are locked & loaded. Every once on a while they crack a smile.
They've mentioned....car keys, cell phone, money, lipstick, debit card. But some of the responses got me laughing....diaper, pocket knife, water bottle, underwear, food. One lady even buys a cup size bigger so she can store stuff lol. One lady keeps samples from stores there. Another....her boyfriends hands.
I understand money & lipstick as not much else I can squeeze in. So ladys do you store things in your ta ta tamers? I thought that's what pockets are for? And purses? Hmmm....now I wonder if guys keep things elsewhere besides their pockets.....lol
You likely see yourself very differently from the way others see you. We change our self-conception when we see others through others eyes. Different persepctives provide different information on the self.
Things that can be known about you
There are four categories....
1..."bright spot"- how you & others see you.
2..."dark spots"- things neither you & others know.
3..."personal spots"- how you see yourself.
4. "Blind spots"- how others see you.
The other day I wrote something about mixed signals. I wanted to know what you think when you hear "mixed signals". As we've all experienced them in our lives. The thing is its not always intentional as sometimes we're misread or we misread others.

I work with elderly & adults in a LTC facilty. I deal with death on occassion as its bound to happen. I've learned a lot while working there about myself & life in general. I've also learned that not is all as it seems. Plus some things were proved wrong. I know no one wants to think of passing on whether its ourselves or another.
The thing is not only do I deal with the physical limitations of age, medical conditions.....some of which are not within our control. Then you have the mind that deteriorates with age....also some of which are not within our control. Then the spirit dies & then the person gives up living.
It makes me sad seeing these men & women who once looked forward to a promising future slowly deteriorate in more than one way. Some accept what's happening & others are afraid. I've had some discussions with some & one thing they usally say is..."don't get old" lol. They had families & took care of them & had lives....& now they're in a spot where now someone else takes care of them...something they didn't think would ever happen.
Life works in mysterious ways & for me working where I am its taught me a lot & in ways that makes me appreciate what I have & what I can do for myself & others. Its not always an easy job but it has its rewards in small special ways. And it makes me sad that I didn't get to visit my great aunt before she passed on. So try not to put off visiting a loved one.....
I see so many things there that made me realize life is way too precious to waste on trivial things. Yes things bother us or get under our skin of so many things. Ask yourself will it matter in a year from now? Or even 5 years? Or even months from now? If so why? Is it benefiting you or anyone by not letting go?
Life goes on whether you're ready or not. By not letting go you're holding yourself back from moving on & forward. By holding grudges you're holding onto something that's not benefiting you. And the thing is the person may not even realize. So guess what you're only hurting yourself. And the person moves on as if nothing is wrong.
Life as we know it....doesn't wait for the right moment. It goes on whether you want it too or not. Tbings happen for a reason even if you don't understand the reason. Life happens & the answer awaits in unexpected ways when the time is right. Don't sit back & watch life pass you by. Life is not a dress rehearsal.
All I know is that we all are born, we live, & then we die. The only difference is how we live our lives. We may not know how or when but we can try to make a difference in our own unique way. It doesn't take much but for some its all they need or want. Sometimes all it takes is a hug or a kind word....even a shoulder to cry on or lean on. Alittle goes a long way.

***Fun fact about myself..... where I used to volunteer I was a mascot. I did first aid for events & we have a mascot at certain events. I enjoyed being a mascot & miss it at times.

We go on our first trip...camping. In the morning his friend picks us up & away we go for the 3hr drive. We play music along the way singing along. When we get close to our destination we eat because we didn't have breakfast lol.
As we drive along its sunny & then it starts to rain. Then the rain starts again....it did this on & off while driving. As we got closer the rain started to pour & the wind picked up. We arrive to our destination. We admire the lake its so nice & bigger than we imagined. We drove by the marina. And hoped to come back & sit on the patio.
We get to our campsite, its nice & sunny....we unpack & we set up our tent. Not dven 5mins later it started to pour....perfect timing lol. Later on we took a walk around the campite to explore. Soon after we started a fire. We had little difficulty starting the fire as it rained & hard to find dry wood n' stuff. But we started a fire & we ate.
We went to meet others & sat around their camp fire drinking spirited drinks. One guy even brought his guitar & played some songs. We had to guess what we was playing. And spent the rest of the night talking & listening to music around the campfire while keeping warm.
Then bed time...boy it was cold....zero degrees celcious. I was frozen. He brought extra blankets so we could snuggle. Then came the dreaded going to the bathroom middle of night trip. I woke him up & he came holding my hand to & from....twice lol. And he kept me warm.
Morning came & we awoke with the birds singing & saranading us lol. We started a fire & made breakfast. Then on with our day. The weather was nice the whole day & no rain. We took a walk & more exploring.
After dinner we drove to the marina. When we arrived the patio was closed & the lounge was about to close in 15mins. But they let us stay while they cleaned up. So we sat & enjoyed a drink. We sat looking out at the marina...it felt we were looking out at a ocean not a lake. We even got to watch the sunset. Then we walked around the marina. Then we went back to our campsite.
We sat by the campfire again...enjoying the atmosphere. Bedtime. Again middle of night bathroom trip lol & him accompaning me as we admire the stars above while holding each other in our arms. The second night was much nicer. The sky was clear & the stars were bright.
We wake up & then we take tent down & pack. We go shower...there was a shower facility there. We leave the site & we go to someones place & have a barbeque to use up some food. After...off we go home.
Its been many many years since I've been camping. I'm camping this long weekend & I'm getting excited about it. I've been buying camping stuff & gear as needed. I hope the weather will be nice for the camping trip. I'll be camping by tent.
Anyone have any camping tips. I'm aware of some already but its been so long. Or even camping stories. I hope I don't forget anything lol. I haven't been to this site before. I also have to buy a life jacket as we'll be boating also.
