I had the weekend off & on Saturday I decided to spend the day by myself. It was a beautiful day. I walked to the farmers market & smpled local goodies, as well I purchased some things....my favorite things that I like. Yummy!
After I decided to go to a roof top patio for a bite & perhaps maybe a drink. Well I got there & patio is closed for season....that sucks now I gotta wait til next year. So I went a got a gelato instead. Then I walked home & along the way I stopped in a few shops. Had a blast!
Later on in the evening I went to a restaurant & sat on the patio. Had dinner & a drink. It was a beautiful fall evening & I enjoyed the atmosphere......the changing leaves & the flowers. I enjoyed the meal as well. It was a nice date!
It was such a beautiful fall day & I didn't want to waste it by being indoors the whole day. I didn't wait for anyone to ask me out. I had no one to join me but I wasn't alone & I didn't feel alone. It didn't bother me but it would of been better if I had someone special to join me & enjoy the day with. But I chatted with others & enjoyed my date with myself.
Over all it was fun & I treated myself.
If I have no date then I'll take myself out.
Its ok to do what you want even alone.
No need to wait for....just do it!
It can be better then expected....try it!

When in a relationship?

The quality time spent together?

The $ amount spent on the date?
The $ amount spent on a gift?
Or a gift from the heart?
I had a conversation with a friend a while back after a heart break. We were talking about spending time together & tokens of appreciation.
As for time she told me....he's so busy that when we get together I cherish the time together even for 2hrs once a week. She also mentioned that....its not how many times you get together that matters its what you do together that matters.
For gifts....gifts from the heart mean more than an expensive gift. When you think of your gifts....its something that gives you memories of that day & of that person you don't forget. Its the little things that you remember the most....not the pricetag.
Can we really put a pricetag on love? Or anything else? With that special someone its the memories together that we remember. Its looking forward to being together doing things together. When you focus on the $ amount you forget the person & see them as an ABM of time & money.
What's more important....
The pricetag of time & money?

Someones heart & emotions!
Our memories are priceless!

Break free from the chains...
I don't want to let myself down any longer. I want to be free to do as I please. I gotta stop self-sabotaging myself. Release me from my inner prison! My inner prison is my inner voice telling me negative things which causes my negative emotions to surface.
What is my inner prison doing to me? Its telling me that I'm not good enough, I'm unloveable, that I won't find someone to love me, that I'm not beautiful enough on my ugly days, that...., it could go on & on. Does it serve me any purpose? NO!!
It causes me so much inner grief, self-doubt, lack of confidence. It makes me fear rejection & especially fearing being hurt again. Does closing myself off accomplish anything? Hell no!!
It keeps telling me so many things that aren't true. It causes me so many wasted tears, of not letting go, of holding onto something that's no longer there, of holding onto past hurts. Of....
Will I be hurt again? Unffortunately yes but hopefully not! Will the next guy hurt me? Probably not! I don't wanna walk around like a wounded victim of heartache. My inner prison is holding me back from moving forward.
We all want it...to love & be loved. But at the same time we put up a wall, we end up not letting anyone in, because we are afraid to open up. We are so afraid that we don't open that door & open oureslve up for....we put up that wall because we're fearing "something".
Are we really fearing love to the point that we stay captive in our inner prison? Why are we keeping ourselves in this cage?
