Something to read...
You likely see yourself very differently from the way others see you. We change our self-conception when we see others through others eyes. Different persepctives provide different information on the self.Things that can be known about you
There are four categories....
1..."bright spot"- how you & others see you.
2..."dark spots"- things neither you & others know.
3..."personal spots"- how you see yourself.
4. "Blind spots"- how others see you.
The other day I wrote something about mixed signals. I wanted to know what you think when you hear "mixed signals". As we've all experienced them in our lives. The thing is its not always intentional as sometimes we're misread or we misread others.
The other day I came across an article that I want to share with you. I found it interesting. It may be long for some lol. The first 2 paragraphs of this blog are part of that article.
Here's where you can find the article....

@ed...keep reading your bible. There is nothing wrong with doing so.
I tried the link but wasn't successful. I'm still looking around their web site though... lots of good articles.
I like the bright spots ... when we can share our outlook... when we're seeing the same things.
I also like to shine a light in the other spots... see if we can understand ourselves and each other a bit better... many don't like to do this however... defenses and insecurities keep the dark spots dark...
An interesting blog, Zweet.
And this too...
I haven't posted a link before so not 100% how The article was written on september 1st or 9th 2009 tho. I should figure it out someday. Thanks for letting know it didn't work.
About the "dark spots" its something to do with the subconscious...as sometimes we're not aware ourselves. I like what its called "bright spots" as what is obvious to us & others. We like to think we know ourselves but sometimes others show us something we didn't realize.
If we keep an open mind about others tell us we may learn something about ourselves. But when we keep a closed mind we can sometimes become defensive especially if its something we don't like to hear.
I'm gonna try the link again
Here goes again lol....
