My Religion!
My regiion is my heart!. I follow my heart. To some "the heart" is not a relgion.
This blog isn't about the discussion about religion.
Its my opinion about relgion & how I feel about it.
HERE GOES.....
My parents were brought up with different reiigious beliefs. I wasn't raised by either religion. But I have gone to church through out my life tho. I was never taught or told that any particular religion was better than another.
While growing up I had friends from different religious backgrounds. I currently have friends with different religious backgrounds. A persons religion does not define who they are, its their actions.
Regardless whether you believe/follow a particular religion, or not....it doesn't make you less/better than any other person. To me religion is a personal choice & I find nothing wrong with any particular religion. Some take it personally & for some its personal.
The problem is when a small group of people in any particular can do "bad things" & all of a sudden some people think ALL are that way. That's not true! There will always be the "the good, the bad, the ugly" in any particular religion....whether we admit it or not. History speaks for itself!
Just because I'm not religious, there's nothing wrong with it. I'm not going to hell....as I was told once. I don't look down at any religion. But it bothers me when someone "shoves" religion down my throat. I didn't come into this world to hate anyone because of their beliefs, or to hurt.
** ATTENTION **
THIS BLOG ISN'T ABOUT BASHING RELIGION. I DON'T WANT ANYONE BASHING OTHERS FOR THEIR BELIEFS. IF I FEEL THAT A COMMENT IS INAPPROPRIATE I WILL DELETE IT.
THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING!

I don`t have a problem with God, but I do have one with his self appointed representatives...
not believing in an religion does not means anything. It is your right to not believe, and the same way for the others that believe.
not sure if you speaking about atheism,or agnosticism... but it is a very complicated issue to most of people, as it deals with the notion of existence. lets not even talk about fundamentalism ..
I agree that religion is an issue for most people. I've seen & heard of so many viewpoints. Some will believe in a god & some don't. Either way nothing wrong with it. Some may even change their religion for whatever the reason. But I've seen people who've taken it too far...that's what bothers me.
people make choices, and you will find some more intense about a certain subjects. we all judge each other, and the question is if we have learn to accept someone point of view with some intelligence.
you have people killing because religion, as you have people killing for "nothing".. human kind has these "prerogatives"
My mom and dad did not go much to church and I was brought up to not go to church other then to weddings, comfirmations and baptisms. I do not even go to church for Christmas. That's not me. But I do respect others and let them believe what they have leaned them selfs or been thought to believe. I say I am a believer in the nature and its seasons and I do call myself a pagan. I do believe that every thing has life from the smallest sand grain to the biggest mountain. But this is not about me, this is about seeing this with open eyes and let everybody believe what ever they want.
The human condition is such that we want to be right and we will go to great lengths to prove that we are right. Unfortunately, the message of religion gets lost in all this proving we go about doing. Now add followers, weapons, armies and those that question your beliefs.
We now have targets, enemies, someone to hate. Completely contradictory to message of religion. Edward Barnes once said that he can sell anything to anyone and any time. I think he was right.
“The way is not in the sky. The way is in the heart.”

Nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' for the Kingdom of God is within you."

I sure would like to see some more from the other religions There must be some from the Quran and The Torah
The last time I was at church was last christmas. I went with my boyfriends family. He grew going to church. I didn't. He goes on holidays now. We both have different religious backgrounds. But it has never has been a problem. I've heard situations where religion got in the way. I look at a person for who they are, they have their beliefs & I'm ok with that. Religion has never gotten in the way of my friendships &/or relationships.
I don't talk about religion myself, there's lots I don't about it. I some things tho. I've learned to respect others beliefs, since its their right to do so. No one should look down on another for their difference in viewpoints. There is no right or wrong. Regardless of your beliefs on religion, its disrespectful to "attack". When it comes to discussions on relgion, I lose interest....why?....it can get heated & its not because I don't care.
PS...I'm doing ok, its late at night at the moment. I finally have the time to respond to the comments. I had a busy 2 days. How are you?
Have your prayers been answered?
Maybe someday your prayers will be answered

True there's no one between me & my heart. But so far it has guided in the correct way. It hasn't stirred me in the wrong direction. Some see relgion as a guide, to guide them & to live by....nothing wrong with that. But at the end of the day, it is me who makes the choice to live my life. I may have different "guides" who give guidance, but its me to stears the direction of my life.
