Too Tired To Touch Myself!

Working a lot these days...exhausted when I finally lay in bed at night, no time to think nor do anything else, just sleep and drag myself out of bed in the morning. What a life... or something like itdoh It's good that I'm single or my partner would probably take off with someone who can give him time and s*xual satisfactionmoping

Work and money have taken over most of our lives, we tend to put people and things aside and put our work above anything else but in times we need company and comfort the most, it's loved ones that we long for.
sigh My older friends keep telling me to enjoy sex as much as I can now because when I'm their age ( 50s) I'll no longer enjoy sex...the thought is freaking scarydoh laugh How the heck can I enjoy sex when I don't even have time to think about it anymore , no time to look for it , too scared to contact any STDs and too holy to commit any sins...doh laugh

Just want to say "Hi!" to you allgrin

Just Like Any Ordinary Night...

Well, have no dates tonight, cold outside and a busy night here at work. Was planning to leave early and have a drink with some friends but have a meeting so I guess tonight is just like any ordinary nightsigh

Here are some jokes to make you smile on Valentine's day/nightgrin

1. Mike walked into a post office just before Valentine’s day, he couldn’t help noticing a middle-aged, balding man standing in a corner sticking “Love” stamps on bright pink envelopes with hearts all over them. Then the man got out a bottle of Channel perfume from his pocket and started spraying scent over the envelopes.

By now Mike’s curiosity had got the better of him, and so I asked the man why he was sending all those cards. The man replied, “I’m sending out 500 Valentine cards signed, ‘Guess who?'”

“But why?” asked Mike.

“I’m a divorce lawyer,” the man replied.

2. One morning Emma woke up with a start. Her husband Jim asked what was the matter, she told him, “I just had a dream that you gave me a pearl necklace for Valentine’s day. What do you think it means?”

“You’ll know tonight,” Jim said.

That evening, Jim home with a small package and gave it to his wife. Delighted, Emma opened it – only to find a book entitled “The meaning of dreams”.

3. AN OLDER WOMAN runs into her friend at the mall. “You’re not going to believe this,” she said. “I found an old lamp the other day. I rubbed it and a genie popped out. He explained that genies don’t give three wishes anymore, but he did offer me a choice between one of two wishes. He could give me a better memory or turn my husband into the greatest lover ever.”

“Tough choice,” said her friend. “Which one did you choose?”

“That’s the thing. I can’t remember.”

4. As Valentine’s Day approached, I tried to think of an unusual gift for my husband. When I discovered that his favorite red-plaid pants had a broken zipper, I thought I had the “perfect Valentine.” I had the pants repaired, and gift-wrapped them. On the package I put a huge red heart on which I printed: “My Heart Pants for You.” I was the surprised one, however, when I saw the same heart taped to our formerly empty, but now overflowing, wood box. On it he had written: “Wood You Be My Valentine?”

5. The lingerie store where my aunt works was crowded with shoppers selecting Valentine’s Day gifts for their wives. A young businessman came to the register with a lacy black negligee. My aunt noticed that the next customer, an elderly farmer, was holding a long flannel nightgown and kept glancing at the younger man’s sexier choice. When it was his turn, the farmer placed the nightgown on the counter. “Would you have anything in black flannel?” He asked.

6. About a year had passed since my amicable divorce, and I decided it was time to start dating again. Unsure how to begin, I thought I’d scan the personals column of my local newspaper. I came across three men who seemed like they’d be promising candidates. A couple of days later, I was checking my answering machine and discovered a message from my ex-husband. “I was over visiting the kids yesterday,” he said. “While I was there I happened to notice you had circled some ads in the paper. Don’t bother calling the guy in the second column. I can tell you right now it won’t work out. That guy is me.”

Have a lovely day/night!teddybear

"What About The Driver ?"

I spent most of my nights here trying to get to the bottom of the spillage of the chemicals we shipped a couple of days ago. The materials were in a trailer en route to Missouri but had an accident with a tractor earlier today. There were 2 types of hazardous chemicals there that if mixed together can be deadly so several emergency services , military team and enviromental group were there among with the responders. I arranged and approved the shipment so I'm mainly responsible. After all the lengthy phone calls and endless emails I received a 7 pages incident report but nowhere it mentioned about the driver. I'm kinda big hearted, I'm more concerned about the driver and people who might be hurt than those chemicalssigh He's not our driver, the carrier I hired subcontracted the shipment. I called all trucking companies involved to get more info, their answer was that they don't have more info for me because they haven't heard from the driver yet. The poor man is more likely in the hospital and couldn't call them.

Everyone was busy trying to find out what happened and who's paying what but none of the parties even mentioned what happened to the driver. It's all about the money, in a world of money, sadly, one's life does not matter much anymore.sigh

Cold dark rainy night here and I'm not in the mood for s*xual blogssigh

Much Ado About Nothing...

So I had a bad weekend, so what ? It's done, lesson learned, move on...

A neighbor knocked at 3am, kept me awake, stayed till 10am. Made her a cup of coffee expecting her leave soon, she talked about her petty argument with her family, she leaves in apartment next to mine, was debating whether to offer her my spare room but she smelled of cats and I have allergies to cat's hair and smell so I didn't . 6 am, sun about to shine, she still didn't show any signs of going back to her house, stayed till 10 am. Opened all my windows and lit scented candles , she left me with a nasty headache and difficulty in breathing . I was very annoyed but didn't show it, too nice and polite to other peoplesigh Well, my routine got upset , tried to sleep early the next night but I couldn't , stayed awake for more than 48 hours. Finally slept late last night and woke up in the afternoon, was feeling grumpylaugh Went to work, I couldn't focus, ordered delivery of some comfort food, didn't had proper meal for 2 days, too annoyed at myself for not having the guts to say NO to peoplesigh

well, busy night here but listening to oldies and feeling a lot better now...

I hope you're all having a nice warm day/night wherever you are...teddybear

How Do You Let People Know They Matter ?

So Valentine's Day is just around the corner....

My plans to show someone he matters didn't come off.

Plan A was a surprise visit, found out before I could book a flight that he's expecting family friends from UK to stay with him the entire Valentine's weekend that I'm planning to spend with him so that's a NO

Plan B. I ordered a beautiful Bonsai in a pretty ceramic pot to be delivered to him on Feb 14th, the company informed me, they have none in stock though their website says they 5 available! .

Plan C. To deliver some yummy dinner tor him on Feb 14th with his favorite apple raspberry crumble dessert but that restaurant has no website except this food delivery website where you can only order what they posted in the website, nothing that can be personalized so it's not worth it.

Plan D...dunno

For my family, I don't get tired expressing and showing my love for them in every way I can even though they are exasperating sometimes.laugh

The Four F's

I've read somewhere that when both partners are able to openly discuss the 4 Fs , the relationship is more likely to be a happy one.

Family
Finances
f*cking
Friends

Family will always comes first to me then I try to focus on my finances, make sure I'm not reliant or dependent to anyone. When I'm happy and content with the first two Fs then I can enjoy a carefree sex with someone I can emotionally, physically and mentally connect with. At this age, I've realized that most friends can not satisfy my needs and won't always be there when the going is rough so consider them the least of my priorities.,sigh

so how many Fs do you have and how do sort them ?laugh

How Much Do You Really Know About The Food You Eat?

I'm not a picky eater but I do try to eat healthy, balanced diet, healthy ingredients but I do indulge myself with some junk foods from time to time.

Someone brought me Haggis from Scotland and wanted me to like it. I've heard that Haggis is made of liver, offals and trimmings. I like liver but I don't like the thought of eating viscera and trimmings , they are not something that would stimulate my appetite. Well, he made a very nice Haggis pie and I did liked it...told him that surprisingly it tastes just like the canned "liver" spread I like to eat since I can remember, something that reminds me of my grandpa who introduced me to this foodgrin

I went to an Asian market few days ago and was surprised to see those canned liver spread, I bought about half a dozen and was really happy about it. I was about to open a can then thought about the ingredients and right there were clearly written : "Pork and beef liver, OFFALS and TRIMMINGS , cereals, vegetable oil & protein, sugar, iodized salt, seasoning and sodium nitrate" . Obviously our own version of Haggis!

I'm eating offals and trimmings all my life, just didn't know about it! doh laugh

What Are You Buying Yourself This Christmas ?

Christmas is usually a season of giving and receiving gifts. But not all of us will be remembered...many of us won't receive any gifts, many will give but won't receive any, many will receive but won't give any.

I don't expect gifts from others but every Christmas I do give presents to loved ones and close friends and receive gifts in return. I enjoy shopping for presents specially for little ones. Christmas is a special time for me too so I make it extra special by buying a little something for myself . I've already bought and wrapped presents for loved ones but haven't bought anything for myself yet. I'm thinking ...maybe a pair of red underwear. I'm going away for a holiday in few days so I might get myself some new clothes too...yay

So , do you buy yourself a gift for Christmas ?laugh

How Do You Like Your Turkey ?

I like it moist... marinated with some Asian marinade for at least 24 hours...perfectly roasted with crispy skin, shared with family and friends.

Busy days here and looking forward to a long relaxing Thanksgiving weekend away from work...
