Cooking For YourSelf Is No Fun At All
well, cold ard rainy weekend here. Took the kids and some friends out to the mall and eat out last night, had lots of fun with them , Now i'm all alone at home, working and feeling hungry...I can't survive on coffee alone
well I just made myself some yummy beef tapas, green leafy salads with avocados, some fried rice and just about to it right here in front of my computer
have some coca cola and left over wine, no complaints but it's really nice to share meals with loved ones
what's cooking here?

Of course it is nicer to cook for others, but that wouldn't stop me cooking good food when I'm by myself.

I love to cook too, I enjoy cooking good meals, mostly on weekends , if it's just me I usually opt for the easy ones like veg salads and left overs. I spent a lot of time outside home working and not much time for cooking really. I hate ordering food but I do that a lot when I'm in the office and when I feel like cooking, it has to be something that's enough for one meal...and all those hassles just for one meal
I just go for what I have in the fridge and pantry, use those that have short shelf life first before they go on waste bin
I don't mind the dishes too , but I'm a compulsive cleaner, once I start washing, I wash everything else within my eyesight
but, but.....I go only every 2 weeks to the supermarket in Town and I was just there and all places are now fool of food
ahaa, so you are the same like me, can not stop when started......so many times it take a time in a mess
I don't go food shopping everyday either, just on weekends , I don't like foods stuck in the freezer for a long time either. I've told myself to go vegan a dozen times but couldn't do it because I have to cook meat and sea foods for my kid
as for compulsive cleaning, there were times when I found myself cleaning late at night , washing, scrubbing, spraying and disinfecting here and there , when I looked at the time it was 3am, maybe because I'm nocturnal, I work at night so I tend to stay awake quite late, and not many people are blogging late at night ( my time) here.
but whats not fun for me is never eating alone
Can't figure out or understand why do people always manage to ring me when I'm about to dig into me food

Nice to have company and share some good meal with loved ones, not with those who invite themselves

I don’t put too much emphasis on eating, although I should.
But, when I get the time, I know how to make a few dishes I like.
Sometimes, simple recipes are better than anything more complicated.
