Hope for the world........

Sure, the young folks you meet traveling and hosteling are a very select group, statistically. But except for Asians, comparatively rare here in Portugal, I'm always meeting fairly large percentages of those not born with silver spoons. Ages from 20-about 30's, and often university educated, which makes it tough to practice foreign languages, all being so good in the world tongue. I see many similarities in style, with our twin girls, regarding how to live and to be, that make me smile. So different from many of us of the working classes half a century ago. Priorities, choices, needs, GF/BF relations, other views on friendships, parents, school, the poor, and so much more. Sort of brings that tingle down the leg each time. But of course, I avoid even the smallest kind word about the Donald.
