My great grandmother was among the many suffragettes working to get the vote for women. Behind the scenes she was backbone of her husband's varied business enterprises.

Oldeguy ~ That's something to be very proud of. Women who made a real difference in a time when womens place was at the kitchen sink. They were strong but not tough. Young people have it so easy, the suffragettes had such a fight to get that vote.
So many take for granted. Good blog and a happy one. I hope her photos has pride of place in your home. I'm sure it has. thumbs up
