For those who have got so used to wearing masks

For those wearing masks and still hiding behind them even without a mask. Just a thought regarding our subtle perceptions of wearing masks especially the annoyance in Dr offices.

MOMMY! MOMMY! I AFEARD OF THE MEAN MASKMAN! crying crying crying
I went for a job interview just over a week ago for a part time job and the owners who were doing the interview asked me to take my mask off so they could see my expressions of my face.
That's a good idea IntheCountry !
Regarding the masks that people hide behind on this site...

The vast majority of people on dating sites DO wear masks.

First they "hide" behind a username that often doesn't reflect their true personality.

Then..they either hide behind a picture that is years old...or not even them!

As for their profile...
Well...some are keen on listing their academic qualifications - sometimes with bad spelling!
As for the intelligent conversations that they crave for, is in short supply and they'd rather discuss trivialities.

Regarding their location...
Many seem to have never heard of time zones!
From my experience here, I have met quite a few interesting people who have passed through, and I find it a good place for sharing views and some entertainment, regardless of the masks.

But...regarding dating...
Central Sahara maybe a better place!
And I take all this with a grain of....sand! laugh
Women and the rich have a head start because they're attuned to view another as a potential threat. It's the very nature of having more worth stealing and/or raping when proles usually have to go to prison to put up the same level of front. A much higher chance of being stabbed before it begins to behave that frenemy. As frenemy as the mask which is purportedly there to help others but is more a way of saying that I'm suspicious of everyone I meet. If I can get through this encounter with a stranger unharmed, I'd be delighted.
Although there will be pushback because face coverings are a barrier to being suspicious of someone by another way. Namely as a shoplifter. They'll have to come up with a new way of making relations more frosty that works with the surveillance state. And I'll bet they'll manage it. Manage it without even trying. That's just the way of the world when it remains uncleansed by war.
Not sure how your recent comment applies to the topic Ches perhaps you can enlighten us?
