truth vs belief

Our mind is designed to run on both belief and truth. It is necessary to strike a balance between the two.
Truth is bitter, belief is sweeter. Truth requires logic, belief does not require logic. Truth is an endless process of logic, belief is a full-stop of logic. Truth is workout, belief is rest. Truth requires a brain, belief does not require a brain.

A scientist reaches a truth by applying a lot of logics. Many years later, another scientist proves that truth wrong by applying another logic. In this way the endless process of logic continues in truth.

Everyone believes in Belief according to their own will. For this we twist the truth in favor of our belief.

We cannot always depend on logic alone, nor can we always depend on belief. It is important to keep a balance in both. If both are imbalanced then we will start harming ourselves and each other.

How about using common sense. Less complicated.

thumbs up
I stick with my beliefs justified by facts to arrive at the truth. wave
Sometimes things turn so opposite that common sense doesn't work, mind doesn't work, IQ goes to zero.

This is the right way.handshake

Everyone believes in Belief according to their own will. For this we twist the truth in favor of our belief.

Your line above made me think but nah, can't say I do that ...
might I add, questioning nd twisting aren't quiet the same thing conversing

Or so me thinks uh oh
When our belief overwhelms us, then we try to divert the truth towards the belief. This is often the case in religious beliefs. Sometimes some people become so blinded by religious beliefs that they overlook the apparent truth.
Our brain is not designed to believe just only a religious-book, our flight of thought can go anywhere, but the pilot just needs to be trained and proficient.grin
[Consider the catch phrase:] “It may be true for you, but it’s not true for me.” What is the meaning of the concept “truth”? Truth is the recognition of reality. (This is known as the correspondence theory of truth.) The same thing cannot be true and untrue at the same time and in the same respect. That catch phrase, therefore, means: a. that the Law of Identity is invalid; b. that there is no objectively perceivable reality, only some indeterminate flux which is nothing in particular, i.e., that there is no reality (in which case, there can be no such thing as truth); or c. that the two debaters perceive two different universes (in which case, no debate is possible). (The purpose of the catch phrase is the destruction of objectivity.)

Philosophy: Who Needs It

“Philosophical Detection,”

IF our brain is not designed to believe confused
then all I can say is, thank God for our hearts.

I'm sure you've often heard the expression " listen to your heart" conversing

Who needs a brain when the hearts got a mind of its own wink
definitely heart is designed for emotions and belief.
